When was BG1:EE announced? I hope we get concrete confirmation by mid year, then as others have said, november or december next year would be nice.
-
I usually take her, mostly because she's my favorite female to interact with in BG:2 so I suppose its an emotional attatchment
-
Didn't mind him before BG2 But knowing what happens to him in that game, plus the fact I usually hook up with you know who, renders him sort of pointless and a nuisance on replays of BG1. He always goes to play with the bears, naked as the day he was born, at the first opportune moment.
-
I would like to see some new dialogue for the new NPC's if possible.
-
probably went in a bit too hard too fast, but you will most likely get another chance.
-
I'd imagine it's possible to fail, as it was in BG2:EE. In general just go for the choices that you think they will like, just like in the real world!
-
Why do people feel the need to come on here to tell us things like this? Contact tech support or beamdog if you are unhappy, or at least post in the support forum.
-
she comes in handier in the follow up than in the first game imo, i do have a soft spot though..
-
You can. However Jaheira is a useful character, if you off the third wheel, Khalid.
-
I have in the past been able to play BG2 (minimum settings) on a Pentium 1, 233mhz rig.
-
With Neera it is no longer required, nor will it be in BG2:EE
-
Yeah it's mental in there, especially when the path-finding craps out and your party end up scattered all over the place. I just tanked the traps and got in and out.
-
I think she's fantastic. The "different" accent suits her due to being a character with unusual backstory. As for people moaning about her battle cry, it's no worse than hearing "FOR THE FALLEEEEEEN" 50,000 times.
-
Agree. I'd easily buy DLC, ADD Ons and expansions
-
For me, they did well with the HD upscale, and the new Characters and quests were decent. For a $20 pricetag, it's fine. But I am hoping for more content in the way of DLC etc, and I hope BG2:EE has more content
-
What they should do is have charname stripped of his powers like the Thor movie. Simple obviously flesh it out a bit more and give a good reason why but that's the way to make it work You know say the other gods got angry etc etc, you get stripped of powers and wake up naked outside baldurs gate and then it's a quest to…
-
ill paypal you $20 to go away, PM me your details
-
It's off to work for me, fella's I'll download and fire it up when i get back, hopefully the demand has slowed down by then Don't forget to eat and stuff guys!
-
I play it on Hard BG2 on the other hand, I play on normal as its a much harder game imo
-
Khalid. Can't stand his voice, and Jaheira is mine. Khalid often gets sent on his lonesome, into some monster infested hell hole, naked as the day god made him
-
I think it can be done. Just retcon the ending, I personally wasn't keen on it anyway. Some people will complain, of course but if the game is good all will be forgotten
-
Triple Triad all over again :-( But seriously, if it was well implemented i'd be all for it, I particularly like the idea of being able to play against NPC's
-
cant afford it yet, I know it's not overly expensive but i have a complsory student loan repayment that all my spare cash is going into, I will buy it on launch though
-
2D absolutely. you simply cannot get the intricate level of Detail that for example Baldurs Gate 2 had, in 3D.
-
I think once a week is fair, anything more than that would probably just be trivial news.
-
This game is going to be a monster, two Athkatla sized cities, 15 level mega dungeon, player house, players stronghold, warriors hall! too bad we now have an 18 month or so wait, but hopefully it will be worth it
-
basically it's in very early pre-production The 3.5 million dollars will be paid in to Obsidian's bank within a few days and then production will begin. BGEE will definatley be out first, probably BG2EE as well
-
For me, it's the new NPC's first, and new quests second. As old as Baldurs gate is, i find it perfectly playable, it's the new content that excites me
-
Troodon89 , a further $100,000 (probably more now) has been pledged via Paypal, the goal has been reached. Obsidian are cobbling together another stretch goal now.
-
just wondering guys, do you like any of the modern RPG's? I do like Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but that's about it. I don't think anything has recaptured that golden age of RPG's yet, but PE and BG3 hopefully will
