Grum’s baby girl is out, and he hasn’t slept in quite some time. But Grum is very supportive of this measure! How can I get it on the phone? :D

If beamdog ever wanted a quote to highlight what they have brought to our community, then this should be it.

Ok, I see what you are saying. And...I don't disagree. Sorcerer casting on shamans is great. I like sorcerers much more than I like wizards. I don't like tailoring spells to each encounter, but rather having many spells to pick from and fewer slots to use them. And having that on a druid is awesome. Need an insect plague?…

Glad you enjoyed the read. :) Not enough time for another train wreck, but if I do it’ll be here

“By Morafin’s hammer!” You know he’s a dwarf

Can you post said Conversion?

Now that’s a plot hole, as everyone knows that banging chinchillas doesn’t need any rationalizo

You are a scholar and a gentleman!

Please post dialogue for us :)

Had a lot of fun with a shadow dancer dual classed to fighter. Get enough skills to hide and see through illusions...from there is is all fun and games.

You mean like Dorn with his one good stat (strength), decent (dex) low (con) and irrelevant (everything else)? If he was Charname 19/18/19 you’d have a point. As is, you hating.

It brings home the danger the sword coast is in. If a group of 4-6 adventurers can be slaughtered in an ambush like that, imagine a merchant caravan? It shows the player why things are so bad

I just wish that wizard slayers couldn’t use any magic items...but magic items don’t work against them either. And if they hit someone, the magic equipment of their enemies counts as mundane. It would be a nightmare to implement, but it would make them great fun.

One is a thematically appropriate, bearded, god of war. The other is a hobbit.

Thank you! It works now

So...I hit export character, choose SoD, and nothing happens. iOS. Any ideas?

I love this post. Great job on your RP-run!

Double post to keep my thoughts straight: I really enjoy this topic. In large part because people can come up with different conclusions on this matter. I think that this is proof that Beamdog did a good job with the crusade.

Yeah...Hex is a horrible, horrible, horrible character. Charname: "Hey, you just murdered our party member!" Hex "Get over it. I took over her mind, ignored her pleas for mercy, and killed her in front of you, because it was in my best interests. And I'll do it again. Now give me that artifact." Charname: "No! You killed…

Pretty much this. When I play these games, I try to think like my characters would. Which means using in-game morality. And in-game, when you have paladins and clerics of good-aligned deities, who join a crusading force to free the trapped souls of good people which languish in hell...it makes my good Charnames feel for…
-
Well...the ogres murder you. For walking by. Crusaders take your shyt for their war effort, as they plan to march on hell to free the souls of unjustly tortured people. In their minds, they’re risking their souls too...so you can suck it up and give them your food/whatever. One is actively evil. The other is being a huge…

In BG1 you kill... 1: Kobolds 2: Bandits 3: Iron Throne Mercenaries 4: Gnolls 5: Xvarts 6: Ogres 7: Undead Most of whom are actively doing evil things. Only the xvart village makes me feel bad. BG2’s enemies are also pretty evil... 1: Vampires 2: Shades 3: Beholders 4: Some bandits and evil mercs 5: Drow 6: Sahugains 7:…

My guess? Armies need supplies. Nobody is funding them. They are marching, and have no supply train or line. They need to live off the land. And they feel justified due to their religious convictions. If whimpering politicians refuse to help them, then they take what they need for their cause. They don’t kill anyone, they…

If you charm her in BG1 she tells you that.

What the game really needs is some good shields to offset the need to dual wield. Example... (*) Defender of Easthaven (as a shield) +20% resistance to slashing, piercing, and crushing damage +3 AC +1 APR I mean, there you go. You now have a shield for adventuring that just about anyone would be happy to use. (*) Allow it…

Half way through (I think). I’ve found 1 typo and 1 already known bug. I really am very impressed with the quality here.
-
Just saying...it runs so well. I’m amazed. All this time avoiding spoilers and it’s paying off

I could test it on my iPhone 6. How do I sign up?

Pretty sure they ate him ;)
