About Formula KFX

Launched in 2025, with a 4-round mini-series at Sonoma Raceway, Formula KFX enters 2026 eager to offer championship racing to Cadet, Junior and Senior competitors at a range of California’s most prized karting venues.

Designed for enthusiast drivers, who have experienced either indoor or outdoor electric or corporate 4-stroke rental karting, Formula KFX is the next step on the ladder, prior to purchasing a kart and competing at a local race club or in a national race meeting as an owner-driver.

Formula KFX promises a high level of competition in the Cadet, Junior and Senior classes and aims to also attract the more experienced racer, who may elect to sell their kart and, for more fun, convenience and fair play, come and race with us.

Each of our Birel ART N35X karts is powered by a Rotax 125 Evo 2-stroke engine. With its excellent handling characteristics and sharp throttle response, these karts are “a must” to experience.

Prior to racing in Formula KFX, we strongly recommend that drivers experience our karts for the first time on one of our scheduled and exclusive test days. This opportunity will offer drivers a chance to hone their skills and generally “get to grips” with the equipment. For new customers making the step up to Formula KFX, drivers will be evaluated during their first test session to establish both safety and competence.
