i think i count that as winning

Great game, I managed to overflow into negatives before having to hand in points. After attempting to hand them in they slowly increased to 0 after which I got softlocked (grayed out hand in button).

Possibly intended mechanic that got me to overflow

When you double points with a monocle, they revert after a transmog. This is not the case when the item is eaten by a vampire. They are quite rare, but I cloned them with the consumable. Combined with juices and monocles I could 16 384x the points per vampire.

However after I kept a vampire with permanent stats about -2^63 it got reset to 0 without affecting my points. Maybe the first time it was due to parrots?

Other than that there is an inconsistency where most active effects can affect themselves (including bomb and transform), but broom cannot destroy itself.

I’d also appreciate an option to speed up animations, though that’s only necessary only after you get enough points to stop caring about rounds. Skipping a round takes a long time even if you leave the board empty. Though perhaps this is just an issue with there being a single (mostly consistent) strategy that is exponential while other strategies are not at all

Monocle + a bunch of juice boxes + 1 item with a good point value decimates everything hehehe

Monocle + juice boxes + spiders + cat.

+vampire, that's the real strat

4,374,659,085 in 1 round (lvl 12)
this takes so long

bro add a fucking tutorial this shit took way too long to figure out

I think it's fine, only took a few minutes to figure it out. It's obviously a prototype and is labeled as such, I don' think it deserves that kind of hate. I'm sure it'll get a tutorial if they choose to continue developing it.

The game is great, but if you reach a massive amount of money your items stop generating money.

If you reroll the shop it fills spaces you emptied

fun game. but it needs more explanation

you are just thrown in with out knowing what the objective is or what things do. this was personally really frustrating for me. and i had to look up a video on how to play it.

please ad a tutorial or an explaination

Thankyou :)

this is seriously amazing, hope you keep working on it!!! could def seeing it selling well on steam and taking off

the "coin" item seems broken.

not as in "yo this thing is insanely overpowered"

it doesn't seem to do its gimmick

fantastic game

was fun!!

Good. Check my game

cat

Great game, I can only win with the cat strat, it started with buffing it + spider to send it back and forth, until I could clone or find more monocles for doubling its value.

goog game

Also, I've defeated your creation via integer overflow  :D

Excellent prototype.  I did notice a few issues during my playtime:
- Coin doesn't work.  Console error is showing "Error: Invalid item id: Coin" from file core/variant/variant_utility.cpp:1023.  No cash is earned when scored.
- Softlock in the shop happens infrequently but at-random, where the proceed button no longer works.  Might have something to do with rerolls.

Very inspired design overall, taking inspiration from existing score-like games but with a fun, distilled twist on it.  Would love an .exe version with save slots!

The game is a lot of fun! unfortunately i managed to crash it after a while lol

Those vampires copying an item that has been doubled a few times is totally OP

cat+monocle+spider/escape rope is op (add stuff like magnifying+hook, thumbs up, scepter...)

juice box should be uncommon

Had a lot of fun

Here's the build for anyone interested

why is the game so juiced

This is genuinely a really fun game!! I hope you seek to develop it further :)

very fun and addicting game. tried very hard to get a Destroy build to work but it's quite difficult. everything else is amazing for what there is though. 9/10

Inserting zero breaks the gam

i didn't know how this game worked, and i always went over on my first playthrough, so I got confused when the game froze

determination

gonna need to PROCEED to tell these jokes

So like I think I just win now right?

Fun bag-building game! Really like this fusion between Luck be a Landlord-type item/synergy designs + core loop, with a little balatro-inspired shop, and the Quacks of Quedlinburg / Living Forest type of push your luck bag-building gameplay. (Always a sort of delightful dynamic.)

Although I do feel like the fact that you can very very easily get to a place where your capacity exceeds your items' values. So that specific tension gets resolved by the mid-game, and then you barely have to ever think about it, so that's slightly unfortunate.

Well-executed and a joy to play, although it lacks an end-point and it has some first-order optimal strategies that runs will very likely gravitate towards. (Juicebox/Monocles exponential scaling with some other things like Cats + Scarecrows or Vampires to eat the scaled-up value then serve as monocle targets.)

So for me it very much lacks replayability right now, but with tighter balancing/content design and a bit more flesh around the bones, I'd pay money for this.

think I broke the game with fll juice and monocle doubler + vampire to keep the doubled in between rounds. Could benefit from a higher scaling in between levels and some power ups in between levels. §Very nice though

Using a compination of vampires, juice boxes, and monocles, I hit integer overflow and lost at the end of level 14

(+2)

I got the charm that reduces consumables from $2 to $1 and it then stayed in effect for future runs for some reason

Surprisingly fun even though it's not decorated at all!

Suggestion: Decorate page to attract people

lol honestly the blankness of it drew me in cause i was like wth is this

Super fun game! I just wanted to ask if the reduced consumable value from that one charm is supposed to remain after you start a new run?

Really enjoyed it!

Sadly it crashes after level2 (I'm playing on safari so maybe that's why) But great art and game juice!

this game is fun. that's all i got.

Great game, the scaling should be exponential thought, like other roguelikes that you can break the game.

Lets look close juice rope and spider our cat!

it froze on this

this was really fun even if i am way too bad at these kinds of games
