Wednesday Jul 2006 - i'm fucking stupid
Sometimes I can't believe the things I do and the reasons why I do them.
Saturday Apr 2006(no subject)
I'm about to have a stroke. Whilst moving all my fanlistings from the database in novemberskies.org to the database in percarus.net.... I LOST ALL THE MEMBERS FROM MY OCTAVARIUM FANLISTING.

Luckly it wasn't that many.
Luckly, the members of the bigger fanlistings were't lost either (Dream Theater, Dani Filth, Tristania, Theatre of Tragedy, Leaves' Eyes)... that would have been hell.
Sunday Apr 2006 - LMFAO ROFLROFLROFL

OMFG ROFL
I found that in Encyclopedia Dramatica and I couldn't stop laughing.
Monday Feb 2006 - Dream Theater last night
Dream Theater was fucking amazing

I wish I had pictures to show how amazing it was... Amazing is an understatement for what I witnessed last night. I swear I've never seen anything like it. All the energy, the look on everyone's face.... everything was just perfect. The waiting in line and getting hurt was worth it. The ticket's ridiculous price was worth it. I loved it.
I waited in line for about 3 hours and bumped into a bunch of people from school. Once inside we had to wait about half an hour for the show to start. I got pretty close to the band leaving Daniel behind, hahaha... I was about to die up there though. People were so rough. I was a bit rough, when I grabed a guy by the hair and pulled him out of my way. Heh.  At one point I was suffocating and yelped out "help!" and the sweaty guy infront of me turned and said "HEYYY PAOLA!!!!" turns out it was Alejandro (ZOMG former crush). He was nearing an orgasm up there screaming his lungs out. I was close to asking him for help to get out of there because I was being pushed around too much and couldn't breathe no matter how hard I tried. They were playing A FORTUNE IN LIES during this. But luckly I was able to get out and find Daniel without any problems. We had a great time the rest of the show. They played Endless Sacrfice which I loved since it's one of my favourites. I was rather surprised that they did not play Learning To Live... a closing classic. But oh well- the rest made up for it. The solo of Pull Me Under was morphed into the solo of Metropolis and that was, needless to say, AMAZING.
Petrucci looked soooooooo sexy. God. The Under A Glass Moon solo was flawless. His solo spot with Jordan Rudess was great. He was everything I expected him to be and more. Certaily legendary. Mike Portnoy was the highlight, though. Brilliant drummer indeed. He gave quite a lot to talk about afterwards. Daniel was in shock watching Portnoy play his drums. The man played with ONE drumstick and it sounded as though he were playing with both drumsticks. Also, he was wearing a Colombian football/soccer t-shirt which I really liked. I love it when artists have awareness of the place they're playing at and show that they are glad to be playing there. John Myung did an awesome bass solo. He doesn't do anything to get noticed on stage but if you draw your attention to him you'll find that he's no-less than amazingly gifted at bass playing. Rudess was great as well. I love his smile while playing, a smile that tells you he really enjoys what he is doing. LaBrie... what's there to say. I didn't expect him to do as well as he did. Judging by live albums you'd figure he's a crappy singer live. How wrong I was. He is amazing. His ability to hit high notes and hold them for extended periods of time is admirable. I loved how he sang The Spirit Carries On ; I've never seen anything special about that song but last night... I managed to feel the song. I loved singing along to it... it reached out to me,  I don't know! It was breath-taking. During As I Am at one point instead of singing "take me as I am", James sang "eat my ass and blass"- out of which I got a chuckle... although I don't think many people knew what that was all about.

Not in the correct order, they played:
Panic Attack
Lie
Endless Sacrifice
Sacrificed Sons
Octavarium
The Spirit Carries On
Strange Deja-Vu/Through My Words
Solitary Shell
About To Crash - Reprise
Losing Time/Grand Finale
As I Am
A Fortune In Lies
Pull Me Under/Metropolis
Peruvian Skies
The Root of All Evil
I Walk Beside You

Like I said, I'm shocked about Learning to Live not being played but I understand they arrived here in the morning and were probably dead tired. They put on an amazing show anyway, so whatever.
