I haven't slept this week at all, I've been so stressed out by this move and my friends (if I thought they were clingy before, my god I was mistaken. I'm moving an hour away at most, not a whole country.) I move out tomorrow and into my apartment and then I have another week before school starts! I went from beginning excited for this, to just tired. I wish I could just move in now and get it over with. My roommate has essentially contributed jack shit for the place, I know she's a senior and all but it's kind of ridiculous. Her contribution to the apartment is her stuff for her room and a dining room table. I've essentially furnished the kitchen, the living room and my room. I'm pretty sure at this rate, that when she leaves (I'll have a week to myself before the semester begins) I'll end up tackling the bathroom as well. :|

I've had to pause chapter four of Imaginary as I've realized I've written myself into a hole. My initial plan was to do chapter 4 and rewrite chapters one & two and post them at the same time. About last week, I abandoned that plan and had decided to just post four and get to the previous chapters later. The way I've set it up however, I can't. The rewrites introduce a character that's necessary for chapter four to move anywhere and just. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

On top of this, I've started two one shots on the side. One is a gift to gabranth, and another that's mean to be another fill on avengerkink. Why do I do this to myself.

Writing three chapters at the same time wasn't exactly a brilliant idea. x_x I'm halfway done with the rewrite of the first, I haven't touched the second chapter rewrite yet but for the fourth chapter, I've written a scene that was initially solely for chapter four but it's become so large it's being split into two parts. The first happening in chapter 4, the later half of it appearing chapter 5 and essentially rearranging the order of the fic.

Outside of that, I've been preparing to move and to get everything finalized for my move to Riverside. Yesterday was my transfer orientation and I was finally allowed to pick my classes! I was terrified I wouldn't be able to get into any classes in my major (they're all closed) but the counselors has reserved a few classes for us! \o/ My classes for this quarter are:

Intro to Creative Writing
Discussion: Creative Writing
Ghosts, Gods, and Monsters: Children's Literature for Writers
The Alien as Other

Surprisingly, the class I'm looking forward to the most is the Alien class. It's a comparative lit course that essentially focuses on the definition of alien and its use in science fiction. :3

Random: Is there anyway to replace lj icons without having to essentially delete the others that I have?

I'm at a crossroads with Imaginary, at one hand, I've semi planned out the entire of chapter 4 and in the other I keep looking back at the previous chapters (especially 2) and I want to go back and rewrite them. Part 1 and part 2 especially were caught in my rush of 'I need to finish this as soon as possible, I need to make this as short as possible' but obviously, I abandoned that with chapter 3. I look back at chapter 2 and cringe- it's short and brief and it lacks anything that chapter 3 or hell, 1 have.

I'm stuck on if I should rewrite it first and then do chapter 4 or vice versa. I know I'd like to release the three of them together, to get the word out that I have indeed rewritten them but I just don't know. :/

I'm back and possibly for good. I've fallen back into fandom- the Avengers fandom specifically and I'm gonna use LJ again as my hub. I ordered a laptop and it should be in by Wednesday and that means I can use photoshop for the first time in over 8 months. ;A;

It's been so long since I've updated here, let me start with this:

I got accepted into the Disney College Program!

I've fallen off the face of the earth due to this internship: it's so. much. fun!

The only downside is the 40 hour work weeks. Along with the random crazy guests that run around and try to abuse the THIS IS SUPPOSE TO BE DISNEY MAGIC, GIVE ME MY MAGIC.

I work in Downtown Disney at the Disneyland Resort in store operations. I originally applied for Costuming but sadly it was already full, so I was given the option of retail or transportation. I jumped on retail. Might as well do the one job I know I can do like the back of my hand. ee

I've been accepted into several universities but I've decided to go to UC Riverside. It offers my core major Creative Writing, and it has the secondary major that I want: Comparative Ancient Civilizations. Yay, for majors that people assume the worst about. :3
