Trisk has updated with the latest in depth review, and I keep our summer vacation theme going, with a trip to Italian cinema, with a long long overdue return to the genre of giallo, and take a look at Lizard in a Woman's Skin.

Hey FoeFam, my means of posting to LJ is acting up, so yes, there was a new review yesterday at Trisk, I just am having trouble posting the link. 😂 And I just haven't made the time to do my own tech support to fix the problem.
But I remembered LJ does have it's on site post feature, so here we be.
Since it's June, and now officially summer (someone please tell the weather), I took a trip south of the border with this supernatural Mexican horror movie, Vacation of Terror!

Trisk has updated with my newest review, for a movie some people MIGHT have actually heard of, for a change, Hell Night.
It's the timeless tale of a bunch of college pledges forced to spend the night in a mansion with a dark past and OOPS there's a deformed killer lurking in the walls.

Stealing this, doing this, actual content that's not a link!
1. What do you consider your current main fandom? (This can include hobbies and collecting. Anything you feel fannish about!)
I'm kinda all over the place, but I think it has to be Riverdale. I think everyone is sick of me talking about Riverdale.
2. What was your first fandom?
X-Men comics, X-Files is probably the first real thing I was into that I got into with others online. I was OBSESSED with Gargoyles.
3. Do you have any favorite headcanons or fan theories?
Nothing currently, but X-Men comics were a hotbed of coming up with batshit fan theories back in the day.
4. Have you ever created fanworks?
I wrote a few fanfics back in the early 2000s/late 90s, but I mostly just like hanging out and talking.
5. Are you still active in any old fandoms?
Define 'active'. Most of my fandoms are still with me, and thanks to Tumblr I still ramble about them. The Flash/Arrowverse, Person of Interest, X-Men, Babylon 5. Assorted other things.

Trisk also updated with a new post today, on top of yesterday's podcast episode. I cracked into the 50 packs and grabbed one called Demon Slaughter at random. It's a mob movie that turns into supernatural Evil Dead homage in the back half.
It's an interesting movie that manages to not be utter trash for its low budget.

Hey, so I also do a podcast! Since there's new folks here, and I don't do an episode very often because I'm lazy, the basic idea is I wanted an excuse to get through my watchlist on streaming sites, and thus was born the Blood Stream, where I dive through the deep waters of streaming services, pull something up at random, and give an in depth snarky plot synopsis, and review. It's basically the audio version of Trisk. 😅 I keep trying to do shorter, more off the cuff normal reviews, but it never works out. I start taking notes, and the next thing I know is I have a full synopsis written...it's a problem!
...Where was I? OH RIGHT! New episode! So I took a look this month, for April Fools, at a piece of junk called Trolled SOS. It's about an online vigilante who kidnaps online trolls, and enacts various "torture" and "revenge" on them, for their actions, on his dark web broadcast. Trust me, it sounds way better than it is.
You can listen to the episode on Apple Podcasts or wherever finer podcasts can be found, just look for the Blood Stream, we're the one not about medicine!

A year ago, I did a review of the 1990s remake of Village of the Damned, since it was the 30th anniversary. So it makes sense to, a year later, go back and do my thing with the original Village of the Damned from 1960.
And yeah, I uh, forgot to post this yesterday...
