FOCIS Annual Meeting

What makes FOCIS truly unique is our interdisciplinary approach to immunology. Translational researchers play a key role in breaking down the silos that currently limit bench to bedside to bench methodology.

The FOCIS Annual Meeting is an incubator for developing scientists and clinicians to coalesce with relevant biotech and pharmaceutical industries to improve the field of translational research throughout medicine.

“The meeting highlights the complexity of the immune system in human health, the connectivity between academic and industry research, and offers a venue for people to think about immune function from different perspectives.”

“The format was extremely effective and successfully brought together attendees from very different backgrounds.”

How We Started

First held in 2001, this growing Annual Meeting draws the best clinician scientists and translational researchers from around the world to present and partake in the scientific program, bringing together cutting-edge science from various subsets of immune-mediated diseases. The diverse audience is made up of scientists, clinicians, and researchers interested in the broad-based implications of their work.

Each FOCIS Annual Meeting builds on the successes of the last, and draws on the expertise of its 66 Member Societies that represent a wide range of immune-mediated disease specialties to provide new and different programming suggestions.

FOCIS 2026 will be the 26th Annual Meeting of the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies. The Scientific Program Committee will develop the FOCIS 2026 Scientific Program for the target audience to fulfill unmet educational needs in the translational immunology scientific and medical community.
