This just in from the Canary Is. region – where a big tsunami could be bad for the Eastern US –
We’ve been watching the continuing swarm of small M quakes at Mt. Rainer, the awakening of the volcano in Alaska as well as the huge quake swarm off Russia.
We have been covering the Cascadia Subduction Zone – now getting scary action as well as the undersea volcano off Oregon. Also Hawaii has volcano activity as well as eastern countries in Central America. Japan has a volcano waking up near a nuclear power plant.
Greece has a quake swarm that won’t quit and we follow Italy‘s volcanoes over on our Yellowstone blog. We follow the New Madrid Fault quakes increasing on the Bugle.California has quake trouble and more faults to worry about than just the San Andreas. We also follow the spreading Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
