Tourists are among 14 people missing and feared dead in Valencia apartment block inferno in addition to four victims known to have died when fire spread in Grenfell Tower-like disaster – as firefighters prepare to search for bodies

“The death toll is expected to rise rapidly once firefighters have cooled down the outside of the building and can safely go inside once the risk of a structural collapse has been ruled out.”

Survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire were “deceived” by promises to swiftly rehouse them, a charity boss has said.

Approximately 100 households will still be living in hotels on Christmas Day, six months after the tragedy in west London.
