We were wondering about so-called “news” these days and the constant repetition of obvious lies (insurrection, insurrection, insurrection!). Then we heard this talk ( at 6:40 min. mark) mention  ‘s patent 6506148B2.

Google News Blocks “Fukushima” News, Searches

With full on meltdowns at multiple reactors and fuel outside any containment news stories are getting heavily censored by Google.

They are just showing stories about the finances, funding requests etc. and nothing about the water loss at units 2 and 4, the unstoppable China Syndrome or the loss of robotics to analyse the meltdowns. When you sort the topic by date they show 3 day old results.

Pathetic manipulation.

On YouTube’s Censorship: Police Advise Google to Remove Protest Videos

Google has been asked by a US law enforcement agency to remove several videos exposing police brutality from the video sharing service YouTube, the company has revealed in its latest update to an online transparency report.

Another request filed by a different agency required Google to remove videos allegedly defaming law enforcement officials. The two requests were among 92 submissions for content removal by various authorities in the US filed between January and June 2011. Both were rejected by Google along with 27 per cent of the submissions. . .   (more + video)

Fukushima Articles Hidden by Google Today

They put this on a search under “blogs” (page 2) and not under “news” with search term “Fukushima” today.

Crews ‘facing 100-year battle’ at Fukushima

A nuclear expert has warned that it might be 100 years before melting fuel rods can be safely removed from Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant.

The warning came as levels of radioactive iodine flushed into the sea near the plant spiked to a new high and the Wall Street Journal said it had obtained disaster response blueprints which said the plant’s operators were woefully unprepared for the scale of the disaster.

Water is still being poured into the damaged reactors to cool melting fuel rods. . .  (more & more & more )

Google Erases Japan Meltdown From “Top Stories”

It isn’t even on the less-than-top stories on the News homepage.

As of 9:50 a.m. EST, 10:50 p.m. in Tokyo….

Google News erases Japan meltdown story

and all references to Fukushima or TOPEC.

UPDATE

At 2:55 p.m. EST there is no mention of the meltdown, Japan nuke crisis etc. on Google News.

And ANOTHER nuke plant (with similar name) is going on the Fritz —

Tokyo (CNN) — Smoke was spotted at another nuclear plant in northeastern Japan on Wednesday, Tokyo Electric Power Co. said.The company said smoke was detected in the turbine building of reactor No. 1 at the Fukushima Daini nuclear power plant around 6 p.m. (5 a.m. ET).Smoke could no longer be seen by around 7 p.m. (6 a.m. ET), a company spokesman told reporters.

The Fukushima Daini nuclear power plant is about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, where workers have been scrambling to stave off a meltdown since the March 11 earthquake and tsunami knocked out cooling systems there. . .  (more)
