This tool can help you transfer files and folders. Luckily, it supports various types of transfers. For instance, it lets you upload files to maintain a website via FTP. Similarly, it allows file backups over a network or using FTP. Moreover, local transfer operations, like file backups between hard drives or regular copies of files to a USB drive, are supported. Other possible operations are burning contents onto a disc or sharing them on social networks.
I cannot say that Fling File Transfer is very hard to use. However, despite its developer´s efforts to make it intuitive, some users may still have difficulty to use it at first. It has a wizard to take you through every necessary step, such as choosing source and destination folders. Besides, you can set the conditions a given action should be triggered on, as in the case of manual transfers, automatic transfers when a change is detected and regular scans to detect changes.
In general, Fling File Transfer comes in handy when you need to keep data synchronized in different locations. As it can continue to work from the System Tray, it does not occupy any of your precious desktop space while transfers are being made.
