I think that I was being rather optimistic in my post last Sunday as I still haven’t been able to any plotting, and it doesn’t look like I will a while yet.
Although it has been mostly warmer it rained all day on Tuesday followed by a hard overnight frost. Looking roumd yesterday morning it’s now very soggy, but thankfully there’s no standing water.
The forecast into next week, after another rainy day today, shows it fairly mild and mostly dry but overcast.Β If that doesn’t change I’m hoping to make a start on digging out, and sieving, compost from the Composter.
Here’s a lucky dip archive picture of some two-tone Pot Marigolds Flighty’s Favourites from June 2015.

Have a good weekend, and take care!
Mother Nature will always move at her pace. Whether itβs weather or growing things. You must be very patient to be gardening the way you are. Is this the therapeutic element?

Ah, winter! The unpredictability. You are keeping a watch on the plot. It is nice to see the photos of summer blooms. Think warm!

Liz I really would like some reasonably settled decent weather. That’s good to know. I sure will. xx

Today’s weather has been so damp and dismal, the birds who visited the garden looked quite bedraggled in the wet but they enjoyed the nuts and seeds on offer π
Thank you for sharing that beautiful photograph from 2015 … so bright and cheerful.
Enjoy the coming weekend.
All the best Jan

Endless varieties, those pot marigolds. That’s a lucky dip for sure. We’ve had a bit of rain off and on today, but barely measurable and temperatures only in the mid-60s (F).
