to start this month off thanks to one of the plants here at home.
I’ve been growing, from seed, this dwarf sunflower Big Smile in a 5 in/12.5 cm plastic pot which has now flowered. It’s just over 10 in/25 cm tall with a lovely yellow flower 2 in/5 cm across.

It’s certainly the best plant I’ve grown in a pot on the windowsill so it’s not surprising that I’ve got a big smile!
Next year I’ll be growing this variety again, perhaps even two plants, and hope for another success.
Please note that I should be doing my usual On the windowsill post towards the end of the month.
Have a good weekend, and take care!
A big smile indeed. Just lovely!
