FlightRuff!

Today is even worse than yesterday as it’s been raining heavily all morning!

I went to the plot for a quick, and rather sodden, walk round as I’ve not been there since Friday. Everything is certainly growing especially the grass and weeds! When it does get dryer and warmer it’ll all be well away.

Anyway I thought that as I needed a smile then perhaps you’d like to share these make-me-smile images.

Here’s one for cat lovers, I think that Daffy will smile at this one and I’m thinking of changing from FlightBuff to FlightRuff!

I’ve just whinged about the weather too! I know, I know, I was bragging to you via e-mail about how beautiful it was yesterday! I thought you had been doing a rain dance to teach me a lesson!

  2. Daffy I’m glad you like them. As you say they’re all good!
I think that we’re now entitled to whinge about it!
It appears that Bruce is full of surprises. That dog picture is great!
Fishing, that’s got me raising my eyebrows. I hope the weather is okay, she enjoys herself and even catches a few fish. xx

  3. FlightRuff ~ πŸ™‚ Soon I’ll be having to write a poem using, sog, bog, log, frog rhymes! Well, I guess you better get on with the rice paddies and have done with it πŸ˜‰ However…I know how frustrating it can be waiting for the sun to shine when there’s nothing one can do about it, other than, of course, drink tea and eat biscuits to wile the time away.

Enjoyed looking at the cute photos, which can’t help but bring a smile. Happy May!

  4. Glo it looks like I can put the rice paddy on hold as the forecast is looking much better from Sunday!
I need to work on the plot as I’ve been eating far too many biscuits lately.
I’m glad that you enjoyed them.
    Thanks, you too! xx

  5. Hi Flighty, we and the garden are certainly getting lots of rain, and yes the weeds are loving it. Yesterday morning was pretty wet, although I managed a few hours in the garden in the afternoon, greys skies but very warm, and I did get some planting done. I like the images website, I am going to really enjoy looking through the categories. I love anything like this, so thanks for the link. x

  7. You certainly put a smile on my face FlightRuff. πŸ˜‰ Yesterday it was raining for most of the day here too. Not good as there is such a lot of work to be done in the kitchen garden. Luckily I have a greenhouse so I worked in there for most of the day. Did some more sowing, planted my tomatoes in the greenhouse and tidied up a bit. Very necessary as I’m a bit of a messy person.Today was much better with lots of sunshine and just the occasional shower.

  8. Yolanda that’s nice to know, I think that we all needed a smile!
I’m not surprised that you’ve got lots of work to do there from what I see from your wonderful entries of your lovely garden(s).
The forecast is looking better so I hope to be sowing lots over the next couple of weeks.
    Happy gardening! xx
