Frog ponderings (4)

I must apologise to Frog for getting his name wrong!

Please note that it’s Frog Newton, which I should have realised as the plot, with his pond, is on the Newton Park East Allotments Site.

Glo (Porcelain Rose) has been kind enough to revise the incorrect images and I’ve corrected the previous Frog pondering entries, and comments, where necessary.

Rest assured that Frog decided on a much better, and safer, idea as you’ll see next week.

  1. For goodness sake! I thought that was the final thud for Frog Newton there! *phew*
    .
Thankfully he has more frog sense than that!
Frog Newton could perhaps find a garden playmate called Frog Morton…. :o)

  2. Oh and I really liked the name Frog Morton! We know someone with the surname Morton, and I was so much enjoying his new persona as a frog! Yesterday was great gardening weather wasn’t it, I was out on the patch the whole day, and achieved so much, I am so relieved! x

  3. Louise yes it was but Glo googled the name and top of the list is a pipe tobacco so we thought that it would be better as something else.
It was but I was at the bookshop all day! Good to see that you got a lot done. Typically today it’s raining, so all I’ve done is a Plot 124 entry! xx

  4. Fabulous ~ Frog Newton sends his thanks 🙂

Beginninghere ~ How nice of you to drop by and say so!

Daffy ~ Frog has a vivid imagination, too ~ and luckily it saved him from potential danger… I wonder if he could have actually reached the roof of the shed…clambering isn’t a word usually associated with frogs, is it?

Louise ~ I agree with you ~ and loved the story of you associating him with your friend Morton. The name Frog Morton, actually evolved from the name “Throckmorton”. However, as Flighty has mentioned, when I recently googled Frog Morton, the name had already been associated with a smokin’ frog! … but then…
    What’s in a name?
That which we call a frog by any other name would still be sweet *wink*
