Not all users are familiar with command lines needed to work with a database like Firebird, which is why FlameRobin has created a graphical user interface capable of performing the most common tasks on this SGBD.

If you're installing Firebird and FlameRobin for the first time, you should know that the administrator is SYSDBA and the password is masterkey. You'll need that information to perform some tasks like creating new users (Server -> Manage Users).

However, the tool that FlameRobin includes for table creation, viewing, procedures, and triggers is a SQL editor, in which it is necessary to manually modify the fields that compose a statement. It does include an autocomplete function that will help you write SQL statements.
