foundation stone laying ceremony for another 100-bedded ESIC Hospital at Bellary.

for a meeting with Mr. Nakajima Yasuaki and Mr. Tomohiro Kaneko, along with office bearers of the Organization for Small & Medium
Enterprises and Regional Innovation (SMRJ).

A delegation led by Smt. Uma Reddy, President of the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry, held a
productive interaction with office bearers of the Indian Chamber of Commerce Japan, at Osaka,, a prestigious
organization with over 90 years of legacy in promoting Indian business in Japan.
Smt Uma Reddy, President, FKCCI, led a delegation to the Manufacturing World Exhibition at Nagoya, Japan, marking a significant
step towards strengthening international industrial collaboration. During the visit, the delegation held a productive interaction with
the Head of RX Japan at the Nagoya Expo, discussing avenues for partnership and knowledge exchange in the manufacturing sector.
Shri T. Sairam Prasad, Sr. Vice President, FKCCI, along with Smt. Rupa Rani, Chairperson, Global AgriTech Summit, met Shri Prasanna H.,
IAS, Managing Director, Karnataka State Agriculture Marketing Board, and apprised him about the upcoming FKCCI Global AgriTech Summit.

About FKCCI

Bharat Ratna Sir. M. Visvesvaraya was an engineering genius, a visionary, a statesman and most importantly a great Institution builder. The erstwhile Mysore Chamber of Commerce founded by him on May 8th 1916 started serving the interests of the Business community since its inception. Mr W.C. Rose served as the first President of the Chambers from 1916 till 1920.The Chamber later became the Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI). Over the last 100 years, the Chamber has had a distinguished array of businessmen and industrialists at the helm of FKCCI, establishing it as an apex organization for Industry, Trade & Service sectors in Karnataka.

With a century of service in commerce and industry, it is no wonder that the FKCCI stands as one of the five foremost chambers in the country apart from being the oldest parent chamber of any state in India. Currently, the membership at FKCCI stands at 3000 direct members and more than 250000 indirect members drawn from all sectors of Trade, Commerce and Industry, spread over Karnataka, including 26 District Chambers of Commerce and 135 Trade Industry Associations.
