Oh jesus Christmas lists.
Fenris is from a place where Christmas does not exist. He is not giving out gifts. However, Shaun is getting an email early Christmas morning that reads "Because Fenris is too culturocentric to give you anything, enjoy this link, on him. Love, Camp." (Pretend the wiki looks more historical/informational, less "this is a videogame"-ish, Shaun. XD)
Tony however does do Christmas! H's giving these people gifts: Shaun, Reid, Raidou, Cesare, Turnbull, and Hawke. He's not very good at gift-giving though (and neither am I) so I am going with a cop-out that he got everyone a movie or a few seasons of some TV show he he thinks they'd like (pick your own, and decide whether your character's tastes were gauged successfully or not yourself, either way is likely). Except Turnbull, whom he got pot holders and a new small kitchen appliance. And Hawke also got an advice book on dealing with irritable spouses.
Also, if you think your character should have been on this list and I missed you, PLEASE LET ME KNOW because after school eating me for months and having a hard time playing, I am so rusty on Tony's CR. >_

Was going through old character journals and found the "worth in bed" meme.

Hey Hawke, what does that translate to in sovereigns . . . ?

Also, going to copy this here so I don't lose it: from here:
"Fenris - What effects the lyrium would have on Fenris is completely up in the air. Fenris was a test case by Danarius, the first of his kind, so anything can happen (lots of jokes about how fanfiction could go crazy on this, haha). It may make him crazy, may give him added powers, we don’t know. Also, since Danarius isn’t around anymore to “maintain” the lyrium (Gaider’s word), it could become unstable. Gaider imagines lyrium like mercury."
Soooo, basically, as if Fenris' life wasn't already fucked enough by the lyrium, it's entirely possible he could literally break down.
And, for lulz,
"I THINK THAT IS IT. Besides the bit where we talked about X-Men, specifically the potential of a Magneto/Professor X/Fenris crossover slash story. Specifically Magneto/Fenris, since, you know, lyrium is a metal so magneto can do whatever the hell he wants with Fenris. Gaider was somewhat dubious about this because he imagines lyrium like mercury, and can Magneto control mercury? Jordan and I assured him that this is fanfiction, an thus anything goes. Of course it’s possible."
. . . sob. (Hi, Magneto. We really should thread again once I am no longer sick.)

Okay, I should have done this when I first got sick, not several days later, but. Haitus for a little while! I have a cold from hell and can't think, plus classes start next week, so not only do I not have brainpower, but what brainpower I can possibly muster is going to be taken up by school.
I will hopefully be well soon but god only knows. >_< My sister's had this same cold (guess who GAVE it to me . . . ) for over two weeks now.

I should have posted this a few days ago.
Just a little heads up, Tony and Fenris will be scarce for a while - I'll tag around when I have energy, but right now, that's not going to be much. We're redoing the floors in half the house (taking up carpet and old pressboard, replacing plywood where necessary, putting down bamboo flooring) and cleaning/repainting/doing repairs as we go as well, and that's sucking all my energy.
I'll pick at old threads as I can also, but . . . sob. Have some puppy eyes in apology for my fail in advance?

Fenris Voice Compilation
For those who are curious as to what Fenris sounds like, or just can't get enough of Gideon Emery's sexy voice, or . . . whatever reason, someone amazing extracted all of Fenris' sound files. Every single line he says is in that pack: just over an hour's worth of that delicious voice. And you, my dears, want it. Because this is a voice you just want to rub all over your body.
Note that it does contain spoilers, because . . . it's every line Fenris says in the game. XD
Yes, I am working on my paper. ;_; Let me have my brief distractions, sob.

Good thing neither Hawke nor Fenris is likely to ever actually propose to the other. ;) Ah, rivalmance, how tsundere thou art. Honestly I'm surprised the score wasn't even lower. Wow.
Quotation meme: go here, pick five quotes that fit your character, post them. I love this meme.
Love is everything it's cracked up to be . . . It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for.
Erica Jong, O Magazine, February 2004
In the truest sense, freedom cannot be bestowed; it must be achieved.
Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882 - 1945), Speech, September 22, 1936
Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends.
Czech Proverb
Freedom hath a thousand charms to show,
That slaves however contented never know.
Cowper
Opinions founded on prejudice are always sustained with the greatest of violence.
Francis Jeffrey (1773 - 1850)

This is mostly for my own reference; there will be no pop quiz. XD
Level: I'm going with level 30 because I like round numbers, and he was always level 27 (and then 28 after the leveling potion) by endgame for me, and giving him +1 ability point for the elixir of physical technique, so . . . Fenris' abilities I'll also list them below the cut for quick reference, with wiki links so they can be looked up.
( Cut for long-ass list of abilities, stats, and equipmentCollapse )
He's specced for grabbing group aggro and beating large numbers of enemies up fast, before they can take him down past his good-but-not-fantabulous defenses. So basically, he's a DPS tank specializing in large groups. The larger, the better.
Now, since camp isn't exactly a videogame, any fights he's in will have a certain amount of creative license! Think cut-scene combat. Like, his magical fisting thing? May not have an ability in his tree, but it sure as heck can be used~

I generally don't think about movie science past "this is cool, let's go with it," when the movie is comic book related.
Although there is ferrofluid.
