HI!
Is anyone (from RJ) interested in taking up a job attachment at Raffles Hospital from 30 Nov to 11 Dec? I'm not sure of the exact scope of the work though (cannot remember).

hello everyone!
we are Team Alegria, and we are currently working on a Citibank-YMCA Youth For Causes Project. Our beneficiary is We-Sharecare Society for Children and Youth (Singapore)
please just take some time and understand: Our project was named Alegria, with a specific purpose in mind. A-L-E-G-R-I-A is spanish for JOY.
So what exactly does JOY mean to YOU? to you, joy might be getting a new ipod, going shopping with your best friends, getting a present from your friends, and so on.
these things make you feel happy, but they definitely do not give you JOY.
Happiness is temporary, but JOY is everlasting .
As such, we are selling notebooks and postcards to raise funds for them.
Inside the notebooks, 3 drawings by the children have been included, showing what joy or happiness is to them. they may not fully understand the difference between joy and happiness, but through their drawings, they can spread their form of joy. The notebooks are being sold at a reduced price of JUST $6 now, so we highly encourage you to buy one to support the children.
Additionally, the postcards have beautiful photos and drawings with puns behind them that are sure to bring a smile to your face. We can only give you momentary happiness, but you can CHOOSE to bring JOY to yourself and many others. They are going at a very reasonable price of $1 for one, and $7.50 for a set of 10.
It is all for a good cause after all! =D

If you are interested in signing up to volunteer for our roadsales, we will be having street sales on the following dates at the respective locations and times:
1. 4th August, Tampines, 11pm-4pm
(shift 1 - 11 to 1.30, shift 2 - 1.30 to 4)
2. 9th August, City Hall MRT area, 11pm-3pm
(shift 1 - 11pm-1pm, shift 2 - 1pm-3pm)
3. 11th/18th/25th August, TBC, 11pm-5pm
(shift 1 - 11pm-1pm, shift 2 - 1pm-3pm, shift 3 - 3pm-5pm)
4.1st September, TBC, 11pm-5pm
