Celebrate Holy Week with Us!

Holy Week begins next Sunday, March 29th, with Palm Sunday. Everyone is invited to join at 9:30am as our children and youth lead us in waving the palm branches! Then, come back at 3pm for our FREE and FUN Easter Egg Hunt at First EPC for all kids 5th grade and under!

On Maundy Thursday, join us for a service at 7pm as we remember the Last Supper.
Our Good Friday Tenebrae Service will be held at 7pm on April 3rd. Tenebrae is service held during Holy Week in which Scripture readings recount the suffering and death of Jesus while candles are gradually extinguished, symbolizing the growing darkness surrounding Christ’s Passion.

On Easter Sunday, April 5th, we will enjoy a short sunrise service at 7:30am to welcome the dawn in prayer & song! Then, join us for our weekly worship service at 9:30a.m. in the Sanctuary as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!

Between the two Easter services, enjoy a light breakfast fundraiser as our youth prepare for their mission trip to Jamaica with CSI Ministries!

Invite your friends & family and join us in this sacred time of celebration as we remember “He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:6-7)

Join us on Good Friday for a unique and moving Tenebrae service – a solemn service of shadow and light reflecting on the Passion of Christ. Through Scripture, masterworks of sacred art, and music led by our Chancel Choir, we will journey through the final hours of Jesus’ life as the sanctuary gradually darkens in the Tenebrae tradition. Tenebrae is a Christian worship service traditionally held during Holy Week in which Scripture readings recount the suffering and death of Jesus while candles are gradually extinguished, symbolizing the growing darkness surrounding Christ’s Passion. The word Tenebrae is Latin for “shadows” or “darkness.” Come prepare your heart for Easter through this meaningful time of worship!
