last week was a random photoshoot thinger at lain's. :0 this week, melcospho4 and hetalia day, wheee~ :D/ (well. xD; not quite whee yet. korea remains unfinished. japan has pants but no jacket. ahaha. ♥ but i am sure it will be done.) um. i've also gotten back into scanlation editing recently. *____* with a few very amusing projects—some for fandoms i'm not even in, but well. xD; claude/sebastian will never not be funny.

so! we drove to adelaide (11h including two food/pee breaks). *_* i think i missed my calling as a truckie. apparently driving 600+ kilometres is fine even on 1h sleep (and 4h the night before that). :D it was fun? 8D ahaha. moreso when desu kept summarising that godawful mouri history romance novel (i can't even remember the title, but the dustjacket called it "the gone with the wind of the west!!" and the main characters were called Fancy and Chance, and they had a son called Blackjack lmfaokejkwejkek).

...linc got pulled over for a breath test by the cops, 200m out of bordertown after taking the wheel. xD after i'd driven past those cops twice. AND THEN, THE SWARM OF LOCUSTS. (actually, they were giant gnats i think.) but oh god, they splatted so thick it seemed almost like it was raining. *_____* except then nothing ran down. they just STUCK TO THE WINDSCREEN. i am sad the epic rain and hail of yesterday (that... i had to go out in twice =___= stupid sister) washed them all away. :3 there were like, 2~3 bugs per square cm all over the front of the car, LOL. 8D SO GROSS.

we stopped at the petrol station before horsham and like, linc was a darling and scrubbed the windscreen (BECAUSE VISIBILITY WAS BADDD). xD xD but then the water ran down and bugjuice got on her pants ahahahaha. (sorry, lincface. :'D)

karenshoes already mentioned the porn room. *_*; literally, they used RALPH as wallpaper. it was... kinda amazing. uh. at one point i kinda threw a tantrum and stomped over, but then couldn't hold it because HELLO ABOUT EIGHT DOZEN NAKED WOMEN STARING BACK AT jkjkjkjkje. xD xD;

adelaide was lovely and quaint, but a dustbowl nonetheless. :0 coles in the middle of the city closed at 5pm?! the horror. but we got to meet val properly, and also diao chan. *_____*! CUE MY FREAKING OUT WHEN WE DISCOVERED SHE'D BE ON THE WCS JUDGING PANEL, OMFG. but she was so lovely, and so was her buttgarden kjawe. ;___;

actually, all of the panel were really nice. kenny gave us a heaaap of awesome advice and the... other guy (OTL) gave us a ganbare speech since, uh. xD; neither of the adelaide teams last year actually did nationals and he didn't want to have wasted another $500 on airfare to adelaide just to judge another team that was going to no-show LOL. his spiel was kinda hysterical (subjectively). even moreso after he deflated after finding out that we weren't actually locals. uh.
