This spring, Filoli's Garden bursts into color with 130,000 bulbs and 2,000 planted pots of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, snowdrops, alliums, grape hyacinths, buttercups, bluebells, and more! It's one of the Bay Area's most spectacular spring flower displays, changing week by week as the season unfolds.

Member Mornings return this spring. From February 28 to May 31, members can reserve a weekend 9-10am entry to experience the Garden in the soft morning light, with fresh blooms, dewy paths, and the day just beginning.

Spring Floral Arranging at Filoli
Create something beautiful right in the Garden, from the Garden.
April 9–10 | 10am–12pm & 2–4pm
April 11 | 10am–12pm
Grab some friends and have fun with flowers. In this laid-back, hands-on experience, Filoli’s Floriculture team will show you how to turn fresh spring blooms and greenery into a gorgeous arrangement to take home.
Sip on light refreshments, get a little creative, and soak up the garden in full bloom. No experience needed, just come ready to have fun and make something you’ll love.

Bask in nature's beauty with live music.

Don't miss your chance to explore live music with high quality headphones as you explore and absorb the natural setting of Filoli’s Formal Garden.
On May 18th, IN A LANDSCAPE takes on the Filoli property & rolling Santa Cruz mountains. Experience the music while relaxing in our Meadow with a drink in hand, or strolling the gardens while the blooms sparkle in the setting sun.

Service Learning at Filoli is a hands-on way to spend time in the gardens while picking up real skills from our expert team. Each session combines a short learning moment with time working alongside staff to care for the estate. Come once or come back anytime. No long-term commitment. Service Learning is a free program, just reserve your spot.
This spring, help mulch the Formal Garden, maintain scenic trails, and get Filoli ready for summer. It’s a feel-good way to be outdoors, meet people, and leave knowing you helped keep this place beautiful.
