Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi thriller Disclosure Day directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Eve Hewson, Colin Firth and Colman Domingo. The film’s original music is composed by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Schindler’s List). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today and a CD and vinyl edition will be coming out in the coming months. Also opening wide is the Hong Kong action movie The Furious directed by Kenji Tanigaki and starring Xie Miao, Joe Taslim, Joey Iwanaga, Yang Enyou and Brian Le. Elliot Leung (Operation Red Sea, The Rescue, Operation Avalanche, Cesium Fallout, Freelance, Warriors of Future) and Olivia Xiaolin have composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score today and Brainfeeder has released the original song Mudhole by Flying Lotus as Captain Murphy last week.
