PrivacyShield: Relaying BLE Beacons to Counter Unsolicited Tracking
USENIX Security ’26
I’m a security researcher and PhD student in Mathias Payer’s HexHive group at EPFL. At the moment, I’m on a research visit with the SysSec group at MPI-SP with Thorsten Holz.
My research focuses on low-level systems security, with a focus on dynamic analysis of embedded firmware. I’ve already published some papers on this topic and I’ve still got some cool stuff in the pipeline!
Outside of my research, I am a member of the 0rganizers and polygl0ts CTF teams. With the latter, I co-founded LakeCTF. While I’m currently not very actively playing, I’m still quite involved with organizing and running LakeCTF!
