About Feather in Her Cap
Three awards that celebrate the achievements of women in the animal health industry.
Feather in Her Cap Award: This award is given to a woman with at least 10 years in the animal health industry who has made significant contributions to her field and who has exhibited a commitment to mentoring women in the animal health industry.
High Flyer Award: This award is given to a woman with 4-10 years in the animal health industry who has achieved at least one major accomplishment, and demonstrates a working relationship with a mentor in the industry.
Entrepreneurial Spirit Award: This new award is given to a woman founder, co-founder or CEO of a start up business serving the animal health industry. The company must be in business two to seven years and have a mission of bringing innovative products or services to the animal health industry.
The Champion of Women Award: This new award recognizes an individual—male or female—who has demonstrated exceptional commitment to mentoring and advancing women within the animal health industry. This award honors those who go above and beyond to open doors, provide guidance, foster leadership development, and champion opportunities for women at all stages of their careers.
By creating an award open to nominees of all genders, we maintain Feather in Her Cap’s mission of celebrating and supporting women in the industry while ensuring inclusivity for all those who contribute to that mission.
