Testimonials
28 learners from Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Romania, Germany and Sweden participated in a 3-month internship in various companies and organizations in their countries as part of FEA-VEE.
This is what some of them had to say about this experience:
โFEA-VEE provided a great opportunity for professional development through the internship they organized for me. Their team was extremely supportive and engaged. My internship was successful, helping me expand my knowledge and build new skills that will be useful in my future careerโ
โAs I am in my 3rd month of my internship, I have the opportunity to practice in a very friendly and creative environment. My collaboration with the owner of the business is very creative and I have the opportunity to participate in the design and creation of traditional costumes using special techniques but also following fashion trends. Thank you, FEA-VEE project, for this opportunity!โ
โThe FEA-VEE project has finally given me the opportunity to apply my theoretical knowledge in practice while still studying.โ
โThe online learning material of the internship helped me to improve my visual communication skills a lot. I learned how to use certain visual elements to express my creativity in the best possible way. I also learned some useful technology.โ
โThis project taught me a lot about the work behind the screens. It is a tough industry and if you want to make a living out of it you have to work twice as hard as you thought before.โ
โThe fashion internships conducted under the FEA-VEE project, as well as the workshop during the study visits and the event in Ruse with the Vocational High School of Clothing, became an extremely inspiring and fruitful experience for me. They gave the opportunity to young people to develop their practical skills, to get acquainted with the real working environment in the fashion industry and to unleash their creativity by working on specific tasks and projects. The participants showed great interest, motivation and desire for development, and the exchange of ideas and experience created an atmosphere of cooperation, confidence and professional growth. The workshops encouraged teamwork, creative thinking and an independent approach to fashion design and clothing production. We created a joint project "Clean Danube Waters", encouraging responsible, green thinking towards fashion and the recycling of textile waste.
For me as a lecturer, this was an extremely satisfying experience. Meeting such inspired and talented young people brought me a sense of meaning and professional satisfaction. The opportunity to share my experience, to see the development and enthusiasm of the participants, as well as their confidence after completing the activities, was the greatest reward. The project created valuable contacts, positive emotions and confidence that such initiatives have a real contribution to the future development of young professionals in the field of fashion.โ

โParticipating in the FEA-VEE Study Visit in Terrassa, Barcelona was a truly transformative experience that strengthened my commitment to sustainable fashion, textile innovation, and international collaboration.
As a fashion designer, textile artist, and educator specializing in circular design and sustainable fashion, I found this mobility program incredibly valuable both professionally and creatively.
During the visit, I had the opportunity to explore innovative solutions for textile sustainability through visits to inspiring organizations such as Teixidors, Formacio i Treball, and UPC textile facilities. Seeing large-scale textile recycling systems, social inclusion models, fiber traceability solutions, and mechanical recycling processes gave me practical insights into how the fashion industry can become more responsible and circular.
The Ecodesign Hackathon was particularly inspiring because it encouraged participants from different countries to collaborate, exchange ideas, and create sustainable design solutions together. It showed how innovation grows when diverse perspectives meet.
I also appreciated learning about digital transformation in fashion, including Industry 4.0 technologies, sustainability strategies, and new entrepreneurial models that combine creativity with environmental responsibility.
What made this experience truly special was meeting talented young professionals from across Europe who share a common vision for a more ethical and sustainable future in fashion.
This study visit has given me new inspiration for my own work in sustainable textiles, circular fashion education, and international cultural collaboration projects.
I am deeply grateful to FEA-VEE, Erasmus+, UPC Terrassa, and all project partners for creating such a meaningful platform for education, innovation, and positive change in the fashion industry.โ
