We offer a simple & contactless payment solution for the hospitality industry. Our goal is to improve the guest experience and optimize the restaurant staff workflow by saving a lot of time for everybody.
Challenge
Time is the most precious thing.
- From the restaurant’s point of view, handling payments can take focus away from providing the best food and the best customer experience.
- Between tracking down the check, dividing the bill, and calculating tips paying for a nice meal out can quickly turn into a long and arduous process.
- For business travelers and leisure customers alike, any moment waiting to pay is a moment wasted.
Solution
Quickbill is the app that allows guests to pay their bills in just a few clicks by scanning a QR code at the restaurants. No sign up needed, it’s fast and seamless. The customer experience is radically improved, the waiters get more tips, and the table turnover increases.
Story
In October 2021, Samira and I went to Dubai for the holidays, we were exhausted to wait for 15 min, 20 min even more for our bill at a restaurant; and then at the Valet parking waiting an additional 20 min to get our car. Even if we got a good dining experience, waiting at the end of the dinner ruined our experience. We started to think about how we can optimize this process and we came up with the idea to pay by QR code. We did some research if this system already exists somewhere in the world. We found a French start-up called Sunday. We worked on our market validation, and we started to develop a tailor-made solution for Hotels and high-end restaurant in the GCC market, including the Valet parking option for a better guest experience.
