Idea
Midcore Brothers it’s a startup games development company, based in Dnipropetrovsk Ukraine. The company launching it’s first flagship game for Virtual Reality platforms, which uniquely will combine rich environment and deep engagement of end user. It is launching on PC and consoles in may 2017, and is implementing a rigorous marketing plan to penetrate the market and gain viral success in this high growth market, which will allow to gain up to $4.5 million in revenue.
Challenge
Midcore Brothers is entering a new and rapidly changing industry, which makes it difficult to evaluate the business and prospects. The growth of the VR games industry and the level of demand and market acceptance of Virtual Reality games are subject to a high degree of uncertainty. Future operating results will depend on numerous factors affecting the VR industry, many of which are beyond management’s control. However, we are working with games since 2008 and familiar with virtual reality technology. This will reduce the risk to a minimum.
Solution
The objective is to obtain $170,000 of equity investment funding to finance the marketing and development of VR project.
Subsequently, the Company aims to continue to develop and launch 5 VR game products and mobile platforms over the next 4 years of operations.
Story
A section which includes how the team of founders have met each other and came up with the startup: Alex and Eugene have met at Google Campout hackathon in 2010 in Dnipropetrovsk. After a while working in different companies in 2013 they decided to start their own company called Midcore Brother with aim to produce quality and fun games.
