Dr. Farouk Shami Receives City of Hope’s Prestigious Spirit of Life Award in Recognition of Over 35 Years of Philanthropy
For over 35 years, Dr. Farouk Shami, Chairman and Founder of Farouk Systems, Inc., has made giving back one of his life’s greatest missions. On July 10th, 2023, Dr. Shami will be honored as the Spirit of Life Honoree at City of Hope’s fundraising gala, the Spirit of Life Celebration. The Spirit of Life Award is the highest honor given by City of Hope, a National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer center for diabetes, cancer, and other life-threatening diseases. This award is presented to industry leaders whose dedication to giving back to their communities serves as a beacon of hope to those in need and a source of inspiration for those seeking to make the world a better place.
