Farlight 84

Farlight 84 is an online action game where you can join exciting battles in which up to sixty players face off on a futuristic island in 2084. Unlike more traditional battle royale games, such as Fortnite or PUBG Mobile, each of the game's characters has special abilities similar to those found in hero shooters like Overwatch and Ace Force.

Fully customizable controls

Farlight 84's default controls will be intuitive for anyone familiar with touchscreen shooters. However, the game does allow you to customize the controls to your liking. From the options menu, you can move and change the size of both the virtual movement stick and all the action buttons. You can also select the specific controls you prefer for vehicles, choosing between three modes: the virtual joystick, buttons, or a virtual steering wheel. Similarly, you can adjust the individual sensitivity for each type of weapon and telescopic sight.

The jetpack-assisted flight around the map

Many aspects make Farlight 84 unique, but undoubtedly one of the most inventive is the jetpack all characters have equipped. Thanks to this item, you can propel yourself at high speed across the map. The jetpack doesn't let you stay in the air for a long time, but it allows you to propel yourself long distances to jump between buildings and dodge enemy attacks. However, you will have to learn how and when to use it correctly, as it does have a few seconds of cooldown between thrusts. And, if you're not careful, those seconds might just be your undoing.

Several game modes

As is common among battle royale games, Farlight 84 offers several game modes. The default mode, Battle Royale, immerses you in massive battles with up to sixty players on two maps: Sunset City or Lampton. Deathmatch Mode, on the other hand, offers much faster and more hectic gameplay, in which two teams face off on much smaller maps: Tinman Industropolis or Polar Point. Coliseum Mode provides a similar experience to Deathmatch, with smaller maps, but you meet your enemies alone to determine the best player this time. Finally, there is also a Training Mode, where you can practice using the different weapons and vehicles in the game and get more familiar with them.

A host of weapons and vehicles at your disposal

Something else that makes Farlight 84 a standout game is its wide variety of weapons and vehicles. As expected in games of this genre, you can use pistols, shotguns, machine guns, and sniper rifles. It's pretty standard so far. What is exceptional is the range of vehicles you can drive during each game. Dotted around the map, you will find floating tanks capable of transforming into turrets, as well as a kind of insect vehicle that moves on land at full speed or special exoskeletons that allow you to levitate around the setting. The variety and originality of the vehicles give each battle an element of surprise.

The favorite character search

As with almost all hero shooters, in Farlight 84, you will find a cast of varied characters with very different profiles. Characters such as the charming Ceana assume the support role, able to heal and improve the skills of the other members of the squad. Other characters, such as Watchman, play the classic "tank" role— in other words, the hero aims to attract enemy fire so that their teammates can stay out of danger and attack more comfortably. There are more than a dozen characters in total, each with their own special ability and background.
