I am currently in the process of completely gutting this place, and starting over.

It has been about three years since I've been here, but I'm coming back. I've had a yearning to blog for some time now, and I knew this is where I could find salvation. I'm a changed person. I've read some of these past entries and sigh. I laugh too, but first it's that sigh of embarrassment, with some regret. I view myself, through these past entries, as disgusting. It's hard for me to read many of them. I'm going to go through one by one, and set all of my past entries to private. I do not have the heart to delete them in their entirety, but I think setting them to private is the best way for me to feel more relaxed and content about it.

In spite of all this, it's nice to be back, LJ.

I MET MEGAN MULLALLY!!!!!!!!

I went to her concert in Orange County April 20th AND the 21st. We met her on the 21st. It was amazing, you have noooooooo idea. I still haven't typed up the whole story yet. It's LONG, alright? I don't miss any details when telling my Megan Mullally story ;) I'll get it up here someday. Until then ...


AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! It was the best night ever. I'll never forget it. EVER.

Today's word is ORCA. *repeats it in high-pitched gay voice* ORCA =D Doesn't it just make you wanna smile?

Anywho, work was really busy. And I went to work *forgetting* it was April Fool's Day .. which was obviously a bad mistake Everyone had some awesome pranks. Oh man, and one of the customers left a note to one of the servers saying, "Oh yeah, and next time, when you hold drug deals, make sure you don't do it right out back of the restaurant..." and we're all like, "OMG..wtf..asdf$#%#QF!!" and then we went out to the back and the guys from that table insdoors were sitting out at the tables outdoors and they all go, "APRIL FOOLS! JUST KIDDINGGGGGGGGG..." and we about shit our pants. It was awesome though, such a fantastic joke. Steve about had a heart attack when he read the note. This was at one point when we got incredibly busy and some things were happening down in the bar, so that's why the drug deal thing was so "oh no we don't need this..." Like we really needed drug deals going down in back of our restaurant, lmao. Customers are awesome.

P.S. I hate Daylight Savings Time.

I've decided, since I'm sick and don't have to do anything constructive when I'm sick .. I'm going to turn off my cell, hook up the PS2 and play Midnight Club 3 until I get to the Atlantic City level. That's a pretty big deal, bitches.

I'm siiiiiiiiiick. I haven't been sick in months, I dunno what happened. I have a killer throat-ache (is there such thing as a "throat-ache"?). And while I don't have a stomache-ache, I feel like I'm going to throw-up. And I feel all tingly .. a bit like I'm high, without the happy side-effects. UGH.

I went to work today, and was there for an hour and a half TOTAL. We only got one table the entire time, it was crazy. I was so glad though, because obviously, I felt like crap. Being at work was actually fun though, when we aren't busy. We were all hanging out in the POS room, the cooks too. Mark was telling these hilarious stories about the pranks he pulled on people at his last job. He's crazy, haha. We were doing all this crap to each other, liltte pranks and stuff, it was awesome. Then Scotty got ahold of this napkin folding book and we all took a napkin and tried to fold them into little hearts, or shirts, and whatever. Why is it that I have the most fun at work when I feel lousy? Luckily I don't work again till Saturday, so I'm sure I'll be better by then.

Sarah and I also have a plan to workout with each other three days a week. IN THE MORNING. Ick. At least I get to workout with someone else for a change though, it's much funner that way, and easier to stick to your plans. We're biking to Panera on Wednesday, so I've gotta get air in my tires. Can't wait to finally start riding that thing again. Can't wait for SUMMERRRRR either! Maybe I'll actually look good in a bikini again if I keep eating right and all that jazz ;-] That's a good - yet slighty vain - goal isn't it? Yes it is.

I'm off to lay in bed and watch Mary Poppins.
