The mission of EYE can see is to provide services, products & support for individuals with low-vision or blindness that assist them in their daily lives. Our goal is to assess and meet each individual’s needs by providing on-site demonstrations, delivery, set-up, training & continual support for all of our products.
Our Story
EYE can see is a family company founded by Tom Blackman in 1998 after having spent decades serving the low vision and blindness community in Indiana. Greg Blackman came aboard full-time in 2011, which is also when we moved to the Broad Ripple area. Since then, we’ve had a location in Broad Ripple where people can come for services and products for vision loss. Kate Atkinson and Scott Rocap round out the team and together our goal is to provide the best tools to help people continue to do the activities that they want to.
We have family members that have dealt with macular degeneration and vision loss, so this is all very personal for us. We treat every client like a family member and try to find the right solutions for them to accomplish what they want to. Over the years, we have many clients that come back to us several times and recommend their friends and family members. Our goal is to provide you the service and support you need.
