Finsbury Park: The shame of a nation

In the early hours of this morning a 48 year old lone wolf, presumably radicalised over time in the developing hate-filled, anti-Muslim, right wing culture of modern Britain took it upon himself to drive a van into helpless Muslim worshippers in Finsbury Park. One man is dead and 10 more people are injured as a result.

The atmosphere around Finsbury Park Mosque must have been electric last night with emergency vehicles sirens and lights illuminating the cacophonous streets as police and paramedics battled to save lives and restore order. Everywhere else in the land the air was heavy with a different characteristic altogether. The stench of hypocrisy lies heavy over Britain today.

We’ve all seen them – the ‘respectable’,  right wing contacts on social media. Perhaps it’s an old school friend of yours. Maybe it’s a parent or a cousin. Perhaps it’s your brother or your sister. They’re the smug, unthinking, superficial clowns who just love to post memes and forward tweets about those awful Muslims. They bang on endlessly about ‘rapefugees’ or fake, easily debunked ‘news’ from Breitbart  about  ‘creeping Sharia’ and cheerfully declare that refugees should be drowned and all immigrants already here should either be deported or sterilised.  Don’t deny it – we all know who they are.

I wouldn’t normally suggest seeking out these losers, these lonely, embittered bigots whose only claim to fame is their ability to libel and slander an entire group of people. It’s true that they’re usually spectacularly wrong with their implausible predictions that never come true and that can be amusing on occasion. It’s also true that giving them the oxygen of interaction encourages them, as it does with any other mischevious internet troll. But today I think we should all make contact and let them know what we think of the fruits of their labour.

These Islamaphobic bigots are the ones responsible for radicalisation of far right terrorists in UK. By constantly demonising Muslims, refugees, ‘foreigners’ and non-whites they have created a narrative that shames the whole nation. And now, many of these same people are posting memes and tweeting tweets condemning the violence that they themselves have helped to create.

So I say we should contact them en masse. If you know an online bigot who preaches the sort of hate that led to the Finsbury Park attack don’t let them off the hook. Remind them of their onslaught of hatred and the impact they have had upon our nation. Expose their divisive lies and let them know that we understand the blood that is on their hands – blood that they may never manage to wash clean. Let them know that we hold them every bit as responsible for this atrocity as we do the ‘lone wolf’ who, egged on by thousands upon thousands of keyboard warriors like them actually drove the van that ploughed into those poor people.

Let them know that we know them.

It seems that there’s another horror story, another scandal, another illustration of inhumanity every day. The front pages of our daily newspapers are replete with stories, some true and some ‘post-truth’ (AKA outright lies), often with lengthy accompanying editorials telling us what to think, what to believe and crucially… who to hate.

Sometimes it’s really easy for news outlets. Editors pick and choose the targets of their righteous anger according to simple protocols depending upon their paper’s particular bias. The well-known algorithm of ‘if brown – terrorist’ and ‘if white – mentally ill loner’ is both obvious and depressingly common. For those of us who follow the ridiculously partisan pronouncements of far-right neoNazi groups like Britain First the ammunition these superficial and formulaic headlines and editorials provide for right wing ‘post-truthers’ like the Biffers is a source of continual irritation.

Britain First’s social media outlets (of which there are many) are stuffed with generalisations about all Muslims based upon a minority of paedophiles or Islamic terror groups who are far more likely to murder other Muslims than anyone else, so unpopular are they within the wider Islamic world.  None the less, international terrorism remains a favourite propaganda topic for the Biffers.

The other really big propaganda bonanza for Britain First is paedophilia. They just love the opportunity to expose paedophiles from the Muslim or immigrant communities. The browner the skin the greater the offence, it seems. The more Islamic the name the greater the likelihood that it’s a paedophile ring (even when there’s absolutely no evidence of any such clandestine group). Britain First claims to hate Muslims because it hates paedophiles. They would have you believe that their outrage at paedophilia came first and they only focus upon Muslims because Muslims do all the interfering with children. Really? Well, in that case…

Will the Biffers be organising demonstrations outside Leeds FC? Can we expect to see Dutchy Fransen giving impassioned speeches about the evils of Football outside Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road ground or harassing the other 53 British clubs with large Biffer-banners demanding “No more football”? After all, you can’t get much more organised than a paedophile ring that draws its victims from 55 established UK football clubs, can you? That’s 55 local organisations spread throughout the country, each with a youth wing and legitimate reasons to expect children to undress and shower together in the company of perverted adult youth leaders.

We look forward to seeing the reception that half a dozen sad Biffers get when they confront the fans of a large city football club with the accusation that “They’re all the same”.

So come on Dutchy. You might as well. After all you’re banned from entering British Mosques. Let’s see how you get on with this truly massive example of organised child exploitation. If it’s really the kids you care about (and not skin colour or religion) there shouldn’t be any reason to avoid taking on the FA. We suggest you begin with Chelsea. That way you won’t even have to cross the M25 to make your heroic point about the dangers of organised paedophilia. Or maybe you could go to Sunderland – we’re sure you’d be most welcome up there.

We can see it now. A handful of brave Bifferati descending upon Sunderland’s ‘Stadium of light’, waving their banners and flags to the timeless mantras…

Beer 2I sit here basking in the late summer sunshine, beer in hand, kids running about (now finally back at school). I’m wondering what the fuck brexit means, whether my life would’ve been better had I been to grammar school and I’m watching the paralympics on TV, marvelling at how these athletes overcame disabilities to perform at the highest level with more patrotism than the combined darkside of the far right fucknuggets.

And that brings us on to all things Biffer. An upcoming trip to Wales, begging letters that appear to show desperation, videos that probably were filmed on Betamax they’re so old and finally a sighting of the lesser known Screechy.

The next stage of the Biffer roadtrip moves into Wales, probably countered by Antifa, which we here at EBF Towers call musical chairs. We have to say that Moley doesn’t think many will turn up apart from the usual hierachy, so called ‘security’ and a few knuckledragging racists. I did wonder if, instead of building a wall in Calais, we shouldn’t build one round Wales to stop Goldibollocks and the high command coming back. Then I remembered that I love Wales, having holidayed on the Pembrokeshire coast during my formative years and have quite a few mates living there. It will be another jingoistic display, probably begging for money and full of anti Muslim and lefty rhetoric.

To the begging letters, which according to Der Fuhrer will stop for a bit (probably as they’ve paid for his trip to the all white enclave Uncle Jim and Nick Griffin have set up in Hungary) have become almost hilarious, definitely desperate and possibly fraudulant. Now “donations” are being paid into their “Merchandising” account as their normal account has been frozen by their provider, probably because the provider has worked out that they are racist spunktrumpets which goes against their terms and conditions. So once the company returns the 7.5k, the muppets have got 15 faaasaaaand paaands in their account. However, Team EBF reckon HMRC might be interested in it. Whatever it is it stinks worse than Stevie Lewis on a hot day with no deodorant.

The videos are even worse. The high command seem to have ramped up the islamaphobic sentiment on their page. They seemingly trawl through Youtube finding any slightly brown people gathered in a town causing fights and Jim’s your Uncle – Muslims riot, Muslims beat someone up, Muslims this or Muslims that. The trouble is these are videos from years ago, some not in this country and most don’t even show Muslims. On one of their feeder pages they even decided to publish a video of a Christian hate preacher being drowned out by bagpipes and dressed it up as a Muslim hate preacher being drowned out. Even when some of our page readers told them what the original was about their sheeple and disciples had already decided their version of the truth.

Now I haven’t really missed her but she’s finally surfaced. The lesser spotted Dutchy ‘screechy’ Fransen finally was spotted in Birmingham. On one of their increasingly inflammatory days out, countered by antifa, Screechy was seen chatting to the Police. We think, well I do, that she was probably checking that she hadn’t broken any bail conditions. Talking of bail conditions did Goldibollocks break his when they invaded a Mosque in Cardiff? BBC say that the Mosque have complained about the invasion so watch this space.

So thats it then, the week in Bifferdom… lies, possible fraud and another roadtrip. Hopefully another week closer to their closure. Disgusting as they are I still laugh at the majority of their antics. Time now for another pint, a quick tab and get the new pool team to take the game seriously.

We’re not at all sure how successful that will be and for all we know the 3 Horseshoes won’t have anything to do with Locke’s Losers but it may be worth avoiding the place on Sunday if you fancy a quiet meal with the kids.

After all, they’ll be turning up to sully the pub’s atmosphere whether the landlord approves of the EDL’s racist views or not,

The caption tells us that ‘The Quran Man’ had no agenda. Oh really?

Then what exactly did he expect to achieve by approaching Muslims to explain their faith to them, Quran in hand and a few cherry-picked verses marked in case he forgot them?
What positive outcome could ever come from lecturing believers in the street about a faith that you don’t share?

Not so very long ago Dutchy Fransen was making a nuisance of herself outside a Mosque when a policeman reminded her of some of the sillier verses in the Bible. She was outraged!

How is this different?

We’re sorry that this man was punched. Here at EBF we’re always sorry to learn that violence has broken out. There should be better, more civilised ways of dealing with political and religious differences than by hitting or even killing each other (Biffers take note). But to suggest that ‘Quran man’ wasn’t deliberately trying to provoke just that sort of reaction is ludicrously transparent.

Come off it, Britain First. This is one of the most transparent lies you’ve ever told.

The decision was made to close Exposing Britain First from the first Monday that Britain First disappears forever and Screechy and Goldibollocks desist with their actions.

There you go, if you’re still here you have read the byline. For those who didn’t, we’re closing down the page. This is where our problem with the sheeple at Britain First begins. We aren’t going to educate while the headlines that the Biffers put out whips their supporters into a frenzy, as they can’t or won’t read beyond what the Fuhrer bunker wants you to see.

Take for example the spoof news story from the Southend News Network, the headline was

“Anger as Southend bakery lauches hot cross buns without offensive cross.”

Now we here at EBF and other groups had great fun with the idiots from March for England and the EDL, who read the headline as ‘Muslims forced the banning of the crosses because they’re offensive’. Read the article and you see it was militant maths teachers who were worried about whether it was an x or a + on the buns. It was then that anyone with a bit of common sense would realise that it was a spoof. The comments on the two fash pages were amazing. At the time of writing the article is still up, if you haven’t already, pop on over there you’ll be amazed (as well as probably reading comments by many of the followers of this page).

Another one from today is more telling :

Yes, there was a car bomb, yes, it was in Berlin, but police were quick to point out there were no links to terrorism whatsoever…but the damage was done, the Fuhrer bunker had put it in the minds of their sheeple that it was terrorism and nothing will stop the blind leading the blind.

Nothing beats a bit of propaganda even if it can ultimately proved that it is bullshit, the damage is done. One more nail in the Islamic coffin. Their sheeple have already seen what they want and the comments show this.

The weekend’s videos, heavily edited and again misleading, said that 300 islamic extremists were attacking them, their female activists were kicked, they were punched and abused.

Lets get past the part where 25 or so of their vile activists brandished crosses and shouted about Jesus, God and scriptures along with “Go back to your own country”. All this outside a place of worship. I think even I would get pretty pissed off with them, the same way I would if they picketed my pub. Goldibollocks even seems to threaten them. Even a vicar (who I would guess has seen more church services than the whole lot of the demonstrators put together) was abused by the Biffers. He’s a lefteye traytor according to them. Again I digress, a picture of these wankpuffins at the pub later showed nothing of the violent assault they allegedly received.

So this is what Exposing Britain First do…

First we look at the headline, then the article they put up (usually from a right wing think-tank or paper), then we root round finding the same story from other sources (usually independent) before putting our side of the story. I listen to Billy Bragg’s music quite a lot and keep referring to his song “It says here” and specifically the line

“When you wake up to find your paper is Tory, just remember there’s two sides to every story.”

Beer 2I have suffered for my beliefs! After three weeks of managing not to listen to the blatant lies and misinformation of the gruesome twosome, the office finally managed to tie me down to watch the whole Luton video and Screechy’s latest stunt outside an East London Mosque. Having seen them and almost bringing up a particularly nice merlot, it occurs to me (who has spent time on a police drug and alcohol awareness course, learning the signs of people who have taken substances) that she does seem to be off her head on something be it a narcotic or rabid belief… or both. Anyway having been forced to watch these videos and also their totally obedient sheeple (how they fawn over the joint fuhrer’s) it again seems to me that they are rapidly becoming a religious internet cult.

How do I get to this conclusion? Well a cult is defined by the church as:

The way to describe a cult is popular in the secular media. From this perspective, a cult is a religious or semi-religious sect whose members are controlled almost entirely by a single individual or by an organization.

This kind of cult is usually manipulative, demanding total commitment and loyalty from its followers. Anyone see a similarity yet?

 

The video of Screechy outside the mosque is reminicent of those men and women trying to preach the gospel in town centres up and down the country. People who are totally committed to religion trying to convert those that think differently. These are the people I cross the road to avoid. However, being tied to a chair in front of the office computer by Prole and Kit with Screechy trying to scream to Muslims I had to take in what she said. Her bodyguards just stood there as she was spat at and shouted back at as she continued to preach a particularly vile gospel that she obviously had difficulty remembering. In fact, the people who kept the peace were not Biffers but Mosque security who managed to keep the young Muslims away from the rabid Screechy. It was she who was trying to provoke a breach of the peace.

The police turned up and tried to move Screechy on. First she said they were part of a legitimate political party, then a Christian movement and then she refused to cooperate with the police when they wanted to take her complaint seriously (lefteye marxist coppers hey who’d have them?). Then, when the policeman quoted Leviticus about not eating fish she went into overdrive (some would say drug fuelled). Obviously the Fuhress hadn’t read that part – or conveniently forgot about it. She continued with her rambling tirade telling the police that this was a legitimate street protest. The fact that there were reports of a school visit to the mosque didn’t seem to faze her at all.

The videos have given us at the EBF tower a few things to look at and turn over to the investigation team. So let’s go through them.

A) there are certainly pointers to Screechy being on some sort of substance: vacant looks in eyes; moodswings; and trouble remembering what she says.

B) In an earlier video, or was it a cult email or Facebook piece, the Fuhrers decided to play on the fact that the bail conditions imposed on them by the magistrates effectively meant that Screechy and Goldibollocks were under house arrest. Big Biffer fail! If they were how was Screechy in East London?

C) They have increasingly started to call those in authority left wing traitors (magistrates, police, Tony Blair) and trying to provoke them into arresting senior members of the Fourth Reich. As far as I could see the police in Luton tried to allow the remote controlled activists (did you see the wires?) to give out papers and speak to the Luton dwellers as much as they liked. They were banned from going into Bury Park to prevent a potential breach of the peace. Then when outraged residents of Luton (all white as far as I could see…so much for Luton being a white no-go zone) wanted the Biffers to fuck off the police arrested one of the anti’s and sent the rest, along with the Biffers packing with a section 35.

The police must be getting particularly pissed off with them by now. The police were also terribly courteous to Screechy in East London trying to get her to make a complaint. However, in her apparently high state she wouldn’t until later, when all evidence had disappeared.

d) They have become increasingly insistent with their begging Emails for various things, safety for activists (although walking sticks that are not necessary and gloves that appear to be a bit naughty seem to be openly held/worn) legal costs etc etc. This appears almost cultlike and their cult members (take members out and change the L to an N) lap it up and send off their hard earned (mainly American) dollars.

e) If they say “legitimate political party,” “Christian movement” or “lefteye authorities” one more time I’m going to puke.

There you go then another week of Biffers in a nutshell, very much looking like a cult with the leaders getting money and undying commitment under seemingly fraudulent means, screaming their gospel to be listened to whether you want it or not.

And now my profit is going to be down because of the amount of mindbleach I have to buy to cleanse my consciousness of Screechy and Goldibollocks. Please Kit and Prole, pretty, pretty please… I’ll be good from now on but please don’t let me have to see anymore Biffer productions.

Biffers with banners are a right bloody nuisance

If ever we needed proof that the Biffers read our blog this is it. Recently we published a piece about Fransen’s cold feet and how Moley had revealed her lack of confidence was putting her pending Fuhrership at risk. Today she seems to have regained her courage and, significantly without Paulie.

In a surprise move she was part of a brace of Biffers who descended on Whitechapel to protest outside the local mosque. Quite why they chose Whitechapel is a little mysterious. It’s hardly a massive structure and the area isn’t known for its racial tensions. Admittedly it has some history but this is hardly Jack the Ripper territory any more.

Apparently the Biffers stayed outside the mosque, blocking its entrance with their ridiculous banner for a full 20 minutes today before buggering off back into the sewer. As usual they remained just long enough to get some publicity shots and pretend they were actually doing something useful. In reality the whole thing was just another photo opportunity for Frau Fransen. It’s amazing that anyone still falls for this rubbish but somebody must or they wouldn’t keep doing it.

This comes hot on the heels of an IBTimes news article that looks for the most part like a Fransen press release, bigging up the Biffers and trying desperately to sanitise their thugishness. The article did make it very clear that BF don’t just go after extremists but all Muslims.

That’s strange. They told the BBC a very different story – not that anyone actually believed them.

The truth is that these people demonise all Muslims because like all neo-nazi groups they need someone to scapegoat. It didn’t need to be Muslims, it could’ve been any minority, but Muslims were topical so they took the fall.

And having chosen Muslims the Biffers really are going for it. But they’re getting more and more desperate. Police forces across the country are making it clear that they’ve had enough. The courts have stopped giving them friendly slaps on the wrist and are very clearly gearing up to hit them hard and their ground support is fading away much more rapidly than it came. That’s why they’ve gone back to direct action at Mosques – a tactic they declared didn’t work less than 12 months ago. They need the attention. Unfortunately for them though, most people stopped caring about their displays of desperation long ago.
Three lonely Biffers, all of whom are familiar faces from demos across the UK reveal a very depressing picture for Britain First. They may be able to buy likes and even comments from overseas. They might do OK with clickbait memes of sick puppies and cute kittens but Facebook isn’t the real world. If they can’t convert their army of keyboard warriors into actual support they lose. And they can’t. So they’ve lost.

We don’t know if this renewed show of bravado will get Dutchy restored in Dowson’s good books. We don’t know if she’ll inherit the Biffer crown this summer – she may have shot herself in the foot already with her recent show of nerves. We do know that whoever sails the Bad Ship Britain First into the sunset half of 2016 will be captain of a near-empty and very leaky vessel. It’s already running with a skeleton crew, and the few passengers that remain seem to be firmly locked in their ‘keyboard’ cabins.

Rape: Islam is not an alibi

Every so often a person turns up in our inbox who is so totally amazing and who has such an incredible story to tell. This is one such EBF supporter. She bravely shared her story with us, and wanted us to share it with you.

cpsJust over six years ago I was raped by a man whom I described to police as Asian, who spoke clear English but had a foreign accent. After a huge effort by the police the man was caught, questioned and charged within a month of the attack, he claimed he hadn’t attacked me and had been at prayer in his local mosque at the time of the attack so the case was sent to the CPS and eventually to court.

In the year between the attack and going to court I found out the man’s name and that he was an Iraqi refugee with a wife and three children who was also a supposed devout Muslim (this was used in his defence in court but dismissed). In that year I suffered from a lot of issues and had a lot of hatred for the world and especially for the man who hurt me.

Mosque 2I was 20 at the time and I was extremely vulnerable, the hate I had for this man festered in me. I had a vague idea of Islam at the time so I decided to do some very rudimentary research and found a lot of hate speech that so called “patriots” had written about how Islam treats women and other people who aren’t Islamic. After reading a lot of this I thought that maybe I had been raped because I was Kufar in the eyes of the Muslim man who had attacked me. That bothered me for a while and by the time the case actually came to court this idea had manifested itself in my mind.

I couldn’t have been more wrong. My questioning by the defence went on for three days, however, on the last day I was due to give evidence I went outside for a cigarette with my chaperone. As we walked outside she warned me that there were members of the community the man was from also outside (I had been made aware there were a large crowd of them in the gallery during the proceedings).

I went outside ready to be shouted and screamed at although that never happened, what did happen was one of the gentlemen from my attackers community (who I later found out was the Imam who had given evidence in my defence) asked my chaperone if he may speak to me. I said yes as I didn’t feel threatened – at this point the gent began to well up. He said he wanted to apologise to me for what I had been through and wanted to make sure that I knew the man that had attacked me was a despicable human being who would be forsaken for using his religion as a pardon for his actions and that he would never be welcomed into the community again for the sin he had committed. He said he could not imagine the pain I had suffered and said my attacker could not be a Muslim as a true Muslim would never hurt a fellow man if he genuinely believed in the ideals of Islam.

GavelI thanked the man for his kind words and I now attribute the way I think to him as he helped me understand the man who had attacked me was an evil human being but not a Muslim. The man who attacked me was found guilty and sentenced to 8 years in prison for his actions.

After the court case I was allowed to be informed about a lot of things that were kept from me during the investigation and court proceedings (this is standard procedure so I couldn’t be influenced by any additional information prior to the court case). I found out that during the investigation police officers went to the man’s local mosque to check his alibi. There were 24 men that immediately came forward to say that the man in question had not been in prayer at the time he had claimed. They all made statements and agreed to give evidence in court if required. Only the Imam had been called to give evidence but he confirmed that the man had not been in the mosque on the day of the attack.

I had no idea how to explain what had happened to my family at the time of the attack so I just didn’t tell the majority of them as it was the easy (or so I thought) option. This is why I have never posted about my ordeal online although at times I have been desperate to post it on the Biffers page just in case it may change just one person’s mindset about Muslims.
Any how about two months after the sentencing I began to re-do my research on Islam. I came to the conclusion that the reason I had only found negative information about Islam was because that is exactly what I was looking for at the time. As time went on I realised that Islam is a peaceful religion, there are fundamentalists as there are in every religion but aside from that Islam is just a religion.

I am very ashamed to say that I ever thought being a Muslim made somebody a bad person but I am also relieved to say that I now understand that Muslims aren’t terrible human beings, that their ideals aren’t to kill all non-believers and that 99% of Muslims are genuinely good people who want to live a fulfilling life and help others wherever possible and that the only difference between us is that they believe in a higher power and I don’t.

When I came across your page that was only reinforced and I was glad to see that there are thousands of other people who agree, I just wanted to thank you for helping me to restore my faith in humanity by proving that Islam is a religion of peace and by proving the Biffers wrong!

Alam Sher: An inspiration to us all

Alam Sher isn’t looking for recognition or to win any popularity contests. But that’s what he deserves. He’s a perfect example of what happens when good people decide that ‘enough is enough’, see the poverty and the distress that exists in their local community and decide to do something about it.

It was 2012 when Alam, then aged 59 took it upon himself to cook for hungry Glaswegians and distribute food free of charge to those who had nothing. Now, nearly three years later the food is still prepared in Alam’s own home, just as before but the whole operation has grown significantly since those early days.

Now Alam’s venture has grown far beyond its humble beginnings. Local businesses regularly donate food and the poverty relief project has two fully staffed soup kitchens, one at the Glasgow Central Mosque and another on the city’s Cadogan Street, and a fleet of drivers who distribute around 100 food packs every week to homeless and poverty-stricken people throughout the city.

Apart from the 100 food packs already mentioned, Alam and his team also provide an additional 30 food packs per week to refugees and asylum seekers through the charity ‘Positive Action’. The team estimates that they’ve delivered around 20,000 food parcels free of charge since the first hot food found its way out of Alam’s kitchen and on to the plates of Glasgow’s most desperate citizens back in 2012.

From their base at the Glasgow Central Mosque the poverty relief project has also developed working links with the Glasgow Homeless Shelter and runs a successful sideline in collecting and distributing clothing, a much-needed service given the cold winter weather of Clydeside’s most famous city.
