The very first step in career guidance is to detect the child s potential. Begin by understanding individual SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunities, threats). SWOT changes with time. Is she/ he interested in some specific type of activity? Or can she/ he process some tasks faster than other children, etc. If parents lack knowledge or are impatient, or busy , the child may not be ready for a career in a changing world. 3. Career guidance should be associated with the process of growing up including playing and experiencing everyday tasks alone or with others. 4. The jobs that a person wants to pursue change when he or she grows up. 5. The most important career counselor is the parents. Nobody but parents have the motivation, resources, time, effort, and responsibility in the career guidance for their children. 6. The unstable world of work is simply too huge and unpredictable for any one individual or team. Because of limited experience, knowledge, vision, resources, and time, most adults, including parents and teachers, can t see a child s full potential or guide the child to explore more via appropriate activities. 7. Career guidance has nothing to do with career testing, writing a CV, editing a Text Profile, or spending days searching job boards. Career testing and IQ testing are limited help for anyone who wants answers about jobs. 8. The mission must be done by big data, the AI of Computer Science. We want to develop Experfi to become a Career Development Social Network for all parents and children. We want to give parents an intelligent assistant that can track and collect data and then make suggestions so that parents can pick how to fully understand their children s potential. 9. To accomplish the quest, we have taken the smallest step by releasing Experfi 0.1 on November 24, 2016. At the time a child is born, all parents want is to make her/ him happy. Parents have to work long hours every day, so they may want an app that is easy to use that just takes them 1 minute to find out simple but effective ways to connect with their kids. Well, here it is and we promise Experfi 0.1 will help. 10. We apply the Theory of Multiple Intelligences in the Experfi app as one of many methods to find out who you are and how you fit with Experfi. The theory was developed by Hobbs Professor Of Cognition and Education Professor Howard Gardner of Harvard University and many others, including Dr. Thomas Armstrong. Professor Gardner proposes eight different types of intelligence to account for a broader range of human potential in children and adults. EXPERFI FOR ADULTS 11. What you do define your career. 12.
