mostly i post on lj anymore to complain about stuff that i can't complain about elsewhere. so like let me just get it out of the way that i have recently wanted to cut ties with (different) people elsewhere on the internet for saying harry potter is "boring" and for snottily telling me that they tried parks and rec and it was "um. not for [them]." those things are forgivable if you're my actual friend but not if you're just a twitter/tumblr acquaintance. people are also sometimes wrong on the internet about darren criss and/or chris colfer (i am pro-them both pretty hard) but that offends me less. :P
true blood is pretty enjoyable lately. bill and sookie are both MUCH more entertaining while apart, skarsgard is naked, pam is flawless, etc etc. still wish they'd get rid of tara; this shit feels like a retread of her with michelle forbes, tagging along, being a dumbass. at least that time she was under a spell.
saw the glee movie with alex and tirtzah and alison. it was so goddamn cheesy and i obviously loved it. mini-warbler!!!
billy was baptized a few weeks ago. did you know baptisms include a quick exorcism? i did not but i'm pleased to report that my baby is officially demon-free. lori and tirtzah and alex and alison all came along with some relatives and family friends of scott's fam (we had it at his parents' church in scranton) and it was a rockin' good time.
i was going to post some pics of billy but my lj app is being a whore and i don't think it's going to let me. :x if you want to see him you can always look at my baby blog on tumblr here. he looks pretty awesome.

also, about the tv show: love the brienne casting. happy peter dinklage got his emmy nod. if maggie smith doesn't play the queen of thorns, it'll wake the dragon.
my paid account expired. i am torn between wanting to re-up it (icons!) or just kind of shrugging. i hate that i post so infrequently, but between the allure of other platforms and the time constraints of having a bb, i just don't know if i'm ever going to get better. :/
whatever. billy is napping so i'm gonna post some pics of him and then talk about hbo television shows, what up.

i loved season one of game of thrones. dany in particular. ♥ almost everything has been perfect. however, as a hound fangirl, i'm really disappointed how much they minimized his role. i really, really hope to see more of him next year. i imagine we will, since ( S1 spoiler i guess, and vague speculation for next yearCollapse ) i do think rory mccann has done very well with the little he's been given so far. lena headey i could do without, tbh. everyone else has been fabulous and i was especially impressed by sophie turner in the finale. jason momoa is hotter than everyone, the end.
oh, speaking of being hotter than everyone: alexander skarsgard! true blood is back. why is it so dumb? there was a time when it was actually good. i know there must've been times since, but the last time i remember it being legitimately good was the episode when godric met the sun. anyway, ( spoilers for S4 so far and also the books.Collapse ) UM I GUESS I HAVE A LOT OF FEELINGS ABOUT TRUE BLOOD. :x

in other hbo news, i have time warner cable, which means i do not yet have access to hbo go, which means i am in a perpetual state of rage. also, i'm cautiously psyched for true blood. book 4 was my favorite of the series so i hope they don't fuck it up TOO badly.

william mako was born at 7:14 this morning, on his due date! my water broke at 11:30 last night, we got to the hospital around 1, epi around 4, started pushing around 5:35, and there he was!! :D labor was uneventful but still mostly sucked, ha. but billy is here and super gorgeous, if i may say so myself.

christmas was great. i went down to my mom's and scott joined us, and we soaked up the warm weather and the peacefulness of the keys. we missed snowpocalypse altho the streets here (or the curbs, at least) are still kind of a mess. we then headed to his parents' house in scranton to ring in the new year. it was a rockin' eve indeed.
i'm 28 weeks and a couple of days pregnant. check this out!
i know it's a baby and whatever but man do i feel fat!
everything is progressing along fine with the bb. :D also, i don't think i posted here but his name is william (billy) blade. william for my dad, blade because it's awesome. as is he. probably, anyway. if nothing else he'll be well-dressed, i can't believe how much stuff we already have for him. to say my mom is psyched would be a massive understatement.
i'm feeling unbelievably lazy but i'm going to hoist myself off the couch and do the prenatal pilates video i just bought. i didn't kill myself to lose 50+ pounds just to gain it all back!
