Based on market opportunity, ExGen Dx concluded that a dual test for Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae (CT/NG) would present the best initial application.

The CT/NG test will detect gene sequences highly specific to these organisms, with EXPAR providing significant advantages in terms of sensitivity and a faster time-to-result than existing solutions.

We will continue to monitor the in vitro diagnostics market, within and beyond sexually transmitted infections, for opportunities where ExGen Dx’s technology can be exploited to offer an improved diagnostics solution.
