This IFilter allows any 3rd-party application relying on IFilters to index the content of Self-Extracting Executable files (.EXE) based on MS-CAB, RAR or ZIP archives.
The Citeknet EXE IFilter is specially designed and optimized to use the extra indexing feature included with Windows Desktop Search, Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server or Microsoft SQL Server.
System requirements: Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 or later...
Note: If you plan to use this IFilter with Windows Desktop Search, you will need to change the Default settings to enable the indexing of EXE files.
