Type 90 fire-resistant safety cabinets with a PATENTED system for immersing batteries in a water tank in the event of a fire. If batteries were to self-ignite, the fire would be very difficult to extinguish. Once extinguished, it could reignite on its own. To overcome this difficulty, we have developed and patented an automatic shelf-tilting system that, in the event of a fire, tips the batteries into a water tank located at the bottom of the cabinet. As they fall due to gravity, they will also disconnect the main electrical outlet, completely cutting off the power. Inside the water tank, the batteries will be immersed, which not only permanently extinguishes the fire but also eliminates the possibility of further self-ignition. LITHIUMSAFE-Q safety cabinets are fire-resistant for 90 minutes and certified according to the EN14470-1 Type 90 standard and the stricter EN16121 version. They allow you to safely store lithium-ion batteries, depending on the accessories chosen (alarm, smoke detector, electrical sockets, fire extinguisher, etc.).
