The Application Modernization Assessment (AMA) is a no cost, light-weight and fast portfolio discovery and directional assessment designed to identify the best candidate applications for modernization.
The AMA answers the question, “what do we modernize?”
The AMA includes:
- Portfolio source-code scan: identifies solution/project structure, languages & frameworks, and incompatible dependencies
- Portfolio database assessment: schemas, data types, advanced feature usage, and modernization level-of-effort estimate

The Modernization Viability Assessment (MVA) is a no-cost technical deep dive into a single application or workload to determine the best-fit target architecture, technology stack and infrastructure. The MVA also identifies technical blockers and mitigations, and includes a project plan.
