8:24 PM 1/10/07 · I'm just in an odd mood and I'm not going to post much today. Having come in last Monday to 102 emails, which continued to grow as I read them for the posts I made that day, then calling in sick Tuesday and coming in Wednesday to a heaping 200+ emails and so on...I'm taking a little break. Works out well as Thursdays are notoriously dead days on LJ, though I've never been entirely sure why that is, so I think I'll occupy my time with something more interesting...

Who to damn though? I just skimmed my info for folks' emails I have handy (hopefully not outdated) and started to build a list. You've gotta pick someone, enter an email, and then why you're damning them. That was really the tricky part and my long list started to dwindle a bit. Some were easy choices, some were things I just made up on the fly, and there's a couple on there I still look at and try to figure how I came up with that.

Actually damned someone for being too damned hot.

So, that's how my day will go. When I initially found this thing I damned Warlock, big surprise there, and that was beyond easy. I damned him for inventing "Stabby Day" which is even more self·explanatory, unfortunately. I really wanna get Brand too but I don't seem to have his email address handy.

Anyone wanna help me out with that?

None of you should be all that concerned though...this will not really damn your souls to Hell. I mean, really, do you think that if there really was a Devil he'd waste his time putting up a gimmicky site like this?

Okay...maybe. Still, the odds are pretty slim.

On the offchance you guys do wind up in Hell, those that weren't gonna be heading there anyway, my bad.

7:39 PM 9/29/06 · Among my recent rental choices has been a number of zombie films; I've had a real yearning for the living dead of late. There's this one thing that seems to happen in the more extreme cases, those films where the zombies infestation spreads worldwide and rapidly, that has this one rather interesting aspect. I don't know that I'd say this happens often but it's come up in more than one film so it struck me as significant.

There's a broadcast, either on television or the radio, or some mass media outlet, where a religious officiary of some note preaches that this is the cause of excess sin. That the gates to Hell have finally opened wide from being overloaded with the damned and these animated corpses coming back to eat the living is our just punishment.

What I'd like to know is if there's something something in scripture (Bible, Koran, Torah) that deals with the dead getting back up and going on a murderous cannibalistic spree?

I think this is the kinda thing we should all know!
