I am taking a page out of

kiertorata's book (thanks for the inspo) and am hoping that by putting it out there, I'll get to some writing.

Here are my WIPs that have things on paper. Some of them have sentences, some paragraphs and some a little bit more.

I have this Ginny/Luna fairy tale inspired fic that was supposed to be for rarepair_shorts 2019 but it's still in my WIP. I have....maybe half of it done. This was supposed to be the fic that would get me out of my writing rut *sigh*

Oh. There's things Pansy/Lavender coffee shop fic that was for an earlier round of hpfemslash_mini . Think down and out!Pansy with barista!Lavender. It was after the war, there was an attempt at humour and banter. Again, I was hoping for a quick 500 words...and it grew...and is still in my WIP.

Oddly enough, I have another Pansy/Lavender fic. This time an 8th year fic. I have an opening scene and an ending one. I like this one but I think it needs more time to simmer...maybe? My stories usually revolve so closely to 1 or 2 characters but this one would involve more characters and just as important other relationships.

I only have a Ginny/Pansy scene that I would like to fold into some kind of story. its' a scrap from a previous story but I really like it. It's a nightmare scene and it just has this eerie vibe to it that I like.

Then I have things that are simmering in my head.

A Remus centric fic where we see him grown from a little boy who thought he'd always be a monster to a teenager who found friends, to a young adult who lost everything and was once again a monster to him receive a letter from Hogwarts (again) inviting him to teach (or you know...find his salvation again).

Another character centric fic. This time Hermione. I HC as biracial (black/white) so this fic would focus on hair, on school and her stresses about and her coping (or lack of) skills with stress. This one I have more feelings about it than I have scenes/images.

People of the Internet, how do you tackle your WIPs/writing slumps?
