It really surprised me how different the lighting was in this episode, to how it was in Strobe. Everything there was very blue, and had strong white elements. Here though, things were very yellow warm, and rather difficult to tone down. You should have seen how many I deleted; there was double the amount you see here!
I'm also taking requests for futuer Quantum Leap sets. I've got every episode available to cap except season 5., Although, saying that, I could rip my videos to DVD if need be ;)

Some are brand new - David Tennant and Ville Valo - inspired by some new pictures I scanned this week. Others have been lurking on the comp for a while. I thought it was about time for a clear out.

I left what I thought were going to be the easier set to complete for disappearicons's round 2 of her 50 icons binge until last. How wrong I was. They've had set back, after set back. Which is a shame, 'cos I've been planning to make some Terrorvision icons for a while.
Personally, I love 1 - 28. But as my iconning progressed, the quality of my caps decreased (video to DVD images were the problem).
And I guess you're wondering why they're all textless. There's a good reason. The aforementioned 1 - 28 were planned to be textless, the others were not. Every so often my PSP7 program throws a hissy fit and have to delete and reinstall the whole thing over. I didn't have time to do that today, but I'm hoping to rework some of them and post them at a later date.
Also, I know a certain someone is going to ask why there are only 3 Shutty icons. Well, there should've been at least 3 more, but I accidentally overwrote the .psp files. My bad :(

I made these as part of disappearicons's round 2 of 50 icons binge. And I have to say, I really enjoyed making these. Some are quite simple, but I've also experimented with others. Concrit would be great :D

These icons turned out to be a bit of a nightmare. You are now seeing the third varation of their existance.
Life 1: Power cut wiped out the first batch Life 2: PSP decided it didn't like me typing, and so I couldn't save them. Life 3: These: Third time lucky!
Well, that was a nice surprise. I won the Fists OF Fury single off eBay last week, thinking it was just the standard UK version. I wanted the B-sides. But, I unwrap it, only to find out it's the rarer European version with the music video. WOOT!
I was outbid on an auction for this a year or two ago, and I've sulked about it ever since. Once one hasn't back up for sale. But, this just wasn't properly listed. To my good fortune :D
This is the second tutorial I promised recycleanimals. I'm sorry about the small delay in getting this done, but I've had other icon-related deadlines to meet! But slowly and surely I'm making my through my to-do list.
The usual guidelines apply:
:: DO NOT COPY this tutorial exactly. It's here to HELP and GUIDE you, that is all. I do not want to see carbon copies out there. :: Experiment, experiment, experiment. Some of the techniques here don't work for all images, you will have to bend rules, and work new ideas into them. :: Do not hotlink the images, or claim this tute as your own. :: Please, if you find this tutorial helpful to you, comment and let me know. I'll adore you for it :)
On My Own I will show you how to make this icon:
Again, this is quite straight forward, but if you do have any questions, feel free to ask and I'll help you all I can. I use PSP7, but it is easily transferrable to other programmes.
This tutorial is best suited for light 'airy' caps/pictures. Anything too dark will just muddy up too much.
I managed to get all these done in three days! That's gotta be a new record for me, lol! I took part in disappearicons's 50 icons binge, and to be truthful, I didn't really think I had a chance!
:: Comment if you take any. Feedback is adored. :: Credit me in the keywords as either _mysteria_ or euphoricons. :: DO NOT HOTLINK! :: Textless icons are not bases, please do not edit. If you would text on them let me know and I will edit them for you.
I've been thinking about doing a tutorial for a while now, and this one was requested by recycleanimals so I figured it would be a good place to start :)
This is the first tutorial I've written, and I've tried to be as clear as I can, but if I seem confusing, please tell me. I promise I don't bite ;)
Before I start I'd like to lay a few guidelines.
Fire Inside We will be making this icon:
It is quite straight forward, for intermediate users. Personally I use PSP7, but the tutorial itself is pretty generic.
OK, so I finished uploading these babies a day or two ago, but I'm having trouble finding somewhere with suffient space and bandwidth for the zip files.
It seems silly for me to sit on these images meantime, so I've decided to share them ;)
I divided them into 11 galleries (to match the zip file content) which explains why some scenes are split up. I might re-arrange them at some point, but rest assured they wil be staying up inmy Photobucket account for a loooong time ;D
Phew. Just finished the tedious task of reorganising my Photobucket account and renewing all the links in my journal entries, including all my entries here.
Anyhoo, I've still got a few sets that I haven't posted here.
