“We have moved on from the political deadlock … Violence and extremism carry consequences,” said EU foreign affairs chief Kaja Kallas.

EU aims to fund “volunteer first-responder teams” in West Bank to deter settler violence, as EU foreign ministers prepare to blacklist more settler extremists.

“The ever and fast deteriorating situation calls for such action [on Israel”, a joint Franco-Swedish proposal said.
