Call for Proposal for EUCA Community Grants - 2026

Description

  • The EUCA aims at stimulating and financially supporting initiatives to benefit the European control community at large, by allocating 20.000 euros per year in the years 2025-2027.
  • The list of possible activities that may be regarded as eligible for support includes, but is not limited to: teaching material in the area of systems and control; workshops of broad interest; lecture series; videos of educational nature; … (provided that the material will become available to everybody through the EUCA website or the EUCA Youtube channel).
  • Initiatives related to the European Control Conference are eligible for support, provided that they respect the spirit of benefitting the whole European control community at large.
  • Initiatives involving proponents from different countries are strongly encouraged.
  • Research activities or activities that bring a profit to the organizers are not eligible.
  • The main applicant must be working in Europe at the time of application, by this meaning one of the countries that are represented in the EUCA General Assembly.

Implementation

  • The deadline for submitting applications is January 31st, 2026 January 10th, 2026

  • Each applicant must submit a 3-page-proposal illustrating the details of the initiative, the involved organizers, and showing in which way the initiative benefits the European control community at large.
  • Each application must include a budget and the list of financial sponsors (including the estimated support they will receive from them).
  • Funds are allocated with the understanding that if they become unnecessary the applicants will inform the Council and renounce to them.
  • The organizers of the supported initiatives are expected to submit a financial report immediately before the event/initiative, and at the end of it. The last instalment of the supported funds will be paid only once the final financial report has been received.
