Dear colleagues and friends,

On behalf of the European Head and Neck Society and the Belgian Head and Neck Oncological Societies, it is a true honor and pleasure to invite you all to Leuven, for the sixth edition of the EU-ROBOT conference. This conference will bring together leading experts, researchers, and clinicians from around the world to explore the latest advancements, share clinical experiences, and discuss the future of robotics and robot-like surgery within the field of head and neck. With a strong focus on scientific excellence, the program will offer a hands-on course, cutting-edge lectures and interactive sessions designed to foster meaningful dialogue and collaboration across disciplines.

As one of the oldest European University Cities with an academic tradition of 600 years, and where the great anatomist Andreas Vesalius published his most important work, Leuven is the ideal scene for a scientific program focused on state of the art of robotic and robot-like surgery in head and neck oncology and for a high level of interactivity between professionals at all stages of their careers. The format provides the opportunity for the youngest colleagues to stump a faculty of top head and neck oncologists on the hot topics in modern head and neck cancer management, with a special attention for the often difficult decision-making process, indications and contraindications for a robotic approach in surgical patients, non-surgical alternatives, recently published and ongoing trials on escalation and de-escalation, and the efforts to set up a European prospective database.

Besides the scientific tradition of Leuven, Belgium is known to combine hospitality and openness to multicultural inputs, gastronomy, culture and high-tech, in which you as a participant, will undoubtedly be immersed.

We look forward to welcoming you to Leuven on 2,3,4 and 5 December 2026 for an inspiring and unforgettable conference!
