The Alchemist is an American music and record producer, DJ, and rapper. He is known for his work with Eminem. He was part of hip-hop music duo The Whooliganz, with Scott Caan. He is also known as Alchemist, Uncle Al, Mudfoot, and Alan The Chemist.

The Alchemist grew up in Beverly Hills, California. He is the son of Linda Rabin and Mordechai/Mike Maman. His father was born in Morocco and grew up in Haifa, Israel. He emigrated to the U.S. and changed his name to Mike. His mother grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada.
