Lzzy Hale is an American musician. She is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of hard rock band Halestorm, which she co-founded with her brother Arejay Hale in 1997.
She was raised on a farm.
Lzzy’s paternal grandfather was Horace Cooper Hale (the son of Terrence Coyle Hale and Claudia Mildred Cooper). Horace was born in Pennsylvania, and had deep roots in the U.S. Terrence was the son of Joshua Mitchell Hale and Charlotte Rebecca Hoshall. Claudia was the daughter of John Wesley Cooper and Rachael Ann Rodgers.
Lzzy’s paternal grandmother was Louise Amelia Flohrer (the daughter of Oswald Wilhelm Flohrer and Lena Zaspel). Louise was born in Pennsylvania, to German parents, from Saxony. Oswald was from Großweitzschen, Mittelsachsen, the son of Hugo Flohrer and Anna Fleek. Lena was from Masten, Kreis Döbeln, the daughter of Richard Oskar Zaspel and Ida Arnold.
Lzzy’s maternal grandmother is evidently named Elizabeth Mae. Her mother, her daughter (Lzzy’s mother), and her granddaughter Lzzy, all share the same first two names.
