Chris Redd is an American actor and stand-up comedian. He was a cast member on the show Saturday Night Live. His roles also include the shows Empire, Love, Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later, Disjointed, Big Mouth, Kenan, Bust Down, which he also co-created; Resurrected Rides, and Power Book III: Raising Kanan; and the films Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, Handsome, Deep Murder, Scare Me, Vampires vs. the Bronx, Spinning Gold, Candy Cane Lane, and Merv.
He was raised partly in Naperville, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.

His mother is Margaret (Nickerson), and I think his father’s name is Melvin Redd. I can’t find where any of them were born, but it appears that most of the family now lives in Brandon, Mississippi.
