Austin Brown is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and record producer.

He is the son of singer Rebbie Jackson and Nathaniel Brown. Austin is the nephew of musicians La Toya Jackson, Michael Jackson, and Janet Jackson, among others. Among his cousins are musicians 3T (Tariano Jackson, Taryll Jackson, and Tito Jackson), actor and musician Jermaine Jackson II, singer, dancer, and actor Jaafar Jackson, and actress and singer Paris Jackson.

Austin’s maternal grandfather was Joseph Walter Jackson (the son of Samuel Joseph Jackson and Crystal Lee King). Joseph was born in Arkansas. Samuel was born in Mississippi, the son of Israel Nero Jackson and Emeline Williams. Crystal was born in Arkansas, the daughter of Samuel King and Gertrude Daniel.

Austin’s maternal grandmother was Katherine/Kattie Esther/B. Scruse (the daughter of Prince Albert Screws/Scruse and Martha “Mattie” Upshaw).
